PL Matchday 2 | 24/8/24 - 25/8/24

Every other teams scores goals for fun unlike us.

Fair play to Wolves, I don't even think I've ever seen us manage to concede the exact same goal three times in a game.

I'm a Mudryk truther too. There's dozens of us. He has his flaws (he presses like a depressed 40 year old which to me is unforgivable for a young player trying to prove himself, and as you said, terrible decision making), but I think he'd flourish in a settled team and under a manager who shows complete belief in him. This Chelsea team is about the worst situation to put a young winger struggling for confidence. You have a bad half and there's 15 identical players ready to replace you. Won't be surprised if he's taken off at the half.

Enzo I'm starting to lose belief in. Good player, but incredibly lightweight - once someone goes past him, it's over. Bloke can't even bring down a player properly. Lot of shouting though, he's good at that.

Caicedo had a couple of minutes when I switched it on where he looked like a world class ball distributor, then lost the ball about 5 times under no pressure the next 30 minutes. This whole team is built on such shaky foundations.

Agreed.

City were never going to sell him to us at a reasonable fee. If he loved the club so much he should have signed for us a youth.
Probably wouldn't be the player he is, if we had got our hands on him back then, he made the right choice to go to City and has made the right decision to leave them.

Team confidence shoot sky high when they have credible goal scoring threats from left right and center.

UCL 23/24 season. Andre Onana managed to do it 3 games in a row which I thought was more impressive!

Gordon scores for Newcastle, been coming. Bournemouth lost their way after Evanilson miss to make it 2-0 and probably bury the game.

It is going to dawn on somebody at our club that it doesn't take that much time to get a team playing well.
Nah mate, it takes 3 years and £600m in transfers to start seeing a pressing structure develop in the team.
