Getting Luton vibes from Ipswich. They huff and puff but they’ll go straight back down.

Number 11 for Ipswich looks like he's coping with playing with a spherical ball for the first time in his life. He's been used to cubes up until now.

The amount of Liverpool fans that underestimate an ageing Salah is baffling. Still a world class player.

Salah's decline taking longer than we'd hoped, still a really good player unfortunately.

I don't think they'll even put up as much of a fight as Luton did.

Their squad is nowhere near Premier League level, and most of their signings haven't changed that.

I've said this so many times. The man keeps himself in top shape and will play at the top for another 3-4 seasons yet

Theyre beating a newly promoted team 2-0. It’s what you’d expect from the team that finished 3rd last season
Sure, I get that, I just thought they were playing good, fast, incisive football. Ipswich are making it easy to play through them right now though, yes.

I seen yesterday none of the last 5 Liverpools managers won their debut league game. That's when I knew today's script.

He's just an assister now. Going down the Sanchez route.
Agreed, his first touch and final ball have always been good (when he finally releases it), I think Slot will lean on him more to bring others into play.

It's early days but Liverpool look excellent, albeit not quite as shot happy as they were under Klopp. Slot could end up being a good appointment.

Let’s not get carried away. There only playing a newly promoted team and the favourites to get relegated. Plus they’ve signed nobody. They won’t keep it up all season.

They’re playing comfortably the worst team in the league and didn’t create a chance till the 60th minute, some of you closet Liverpool fans need to hide it better

Hope McKenna doesn't get judged as a Premier league manager on his season as a Premier league manager.

They were pretty unconvincing in the first half, to put it mildly. "Look excellent" is far from the truth IMO.

Jury still out on Pool. They're doing well after Ipswich tired a bit but things looked pretty sketchy in the first.

They have great attacking quality so that'll probably keep things going. Salah looks really sharp, Jota is class and the rest like Nunez, Diaz, Gakpo are good options.

If they fall apart it's because of the midfield. Initially Trent seemed kinda confused by his role. Was playing within himself a bit. Bradley is a much natural fit for that role.

The TAA to Madrid links make sense for everyone (except Liverpool obviously)

Can see Ipswich making progress in the Carabao, maybe 4th round. And possibly getting back to back wins in March. Also there's the Suffolk dividend, which usually kicks in about now.
