PL Gameweek 1 | 16/08/24 - 19/08/24

So when the opposition makes mistakes, is it only the United team which just stands in its place waiting for the mistake and then create the chance?

When other teams force the opposition to make mistakes, is it great pressing or exaggerated chance creation?:lol::lol:
Oh not at all. The Bruno one was good pressing. The Calvin Bassey one was a freak mistake though and I wouldn't count on that one happening often.

Maybe we should loan them amass, that left back looks poor.

Trent has turned this game around in the last 5 minutes. He’s cut Ipswich apart with his passing 4 times. Having that sort of creativity from RB is worth the dodgy defensive side of his game.

Dunno if it’s worth it in the big games, but yeah he has had a great second half. Some great passing.

The only good thing is Salah getting the assist as ive got him as captain in FPL for this week.

And now he has scored as well

Ipswich ran out of steam with all that intensity in the first half and now Liverpool are just picking them off.

These promoted sides always make the same mistake when it comes to recruitment. You need PL proven players to succeed in this league.

Why didn’t they check Salah for offside for the first goal? He looked off but they didn’t even bother checking it?

Shocking defensive positioning from Ipswich on both goals. Liverpool playing like this are probably getting beat by most teams in the league at this stage.

Is this game giving anyone a fresh resurgence of pure hatred for Liverpool? I hope no one is going soft or doubting their vileness after Klopp left. I'm not actually watching but reading of the pro-scouse weasley ref and hearing the name Salah are entraining real vile in my heart and bringing to mind a poem written by a Belgian prisoner of war in WW1

Ah but then go stilly after thee
When me mam brings buttered jam for tea
And remember that cnut Slot
Should be held up, noosed then shot.

Don't approve of such sentiments given what's been happening on the Dovedale stepping stones lately but watching that video about how Curtis Jones treated that airport employee had my blood boiling.
