PL Gameweek 1 | 16/08/24 - 19/08/24

They won't have a drop off like we did post SAF but I'm still not convinced they'll kick on.
They won't as SAF held the United ship together and then for the next decade we all got to truly see how incompetent the Glazers and the buddies were with running the club. Liverpool don't have idiots running the club but hopefully they aren't as lucky under Slot as they were under Klopp.

Gotta be pretty depressing supporting Everton. Feel like they've been just barely surviving and little more for a few years now. They try hard, they really do, but there's such little quality there.

They just carry on barely surviving as teams coming up find it so hard.

Young red now too..

Branthwaite must be depressed - thinking about where he could have been, and where he will be for 37 more rounds

It's soft but you give the referee the opportunity to give the soft decision by putting your head into the other player's.

As I have said already

Yes he's been stupid but it's not just soft, it's ridiculous to get sent for that and the ref was conned by the dive. It can only fall under violent conduct and it doesn't reach the threshold of excessive force or brutality and that should have been pointed out by VAR.

My guess is once both Calafiori and Timber are up to speed, Zinchenko is toast at Arsenal.

Timber was such a big loss for them last season.

Better for us if they stay in the Prem isn't it? Don't like the idea of Liverpool being a one team city. Everton ends up with a lot of young talent around Merseyside.

Much needed goal from Saka to kill off Wolves hope

Anyone watching Brighton? How did Minteh and Wieffer do?

Saka's trim is terrible. He's too rich to be walking around like that.

This would make you feel old..

This had comfortable 3-0 win written all over it. I bet Gabriel or some other fecker scores from a corner in the last 5 minutes.
Nothing has been comfortable about the second half. Wolves should be level.

Before checking out, I'll post what i posted on the first game of last season. Sack him now and try to get potter in and maybe then it won't be dire football mixed with a relegation battle. Might still be the latter, but at least it'll be nice to watch. A ray of hope in a endless sea of shite.

Tbf I left to run some errands just before HT and came back around the 70th min. Arsenal fans in my house said it’s been entirely comfortable. Good to hear they’ve not had it their own way.

Can you even afford to sack him?
