PL Gameweek 1 | 16/08/24 - 19/08/24

Tbf I left to run some errands just before HT and came back around the 70th min. Arsenal fans in my house said it’s been entirely comfortable. Good to hear they’ve not had it their own way.
We have had our own way. Wolves had one good chance that too from our blunder mispass.

That new stadium is going to look incredible in the Championship

Nice to see it's not just the pl that's back, english referees clearly geared up and ready. Unbelievable that schar was a red but mosquera straight up attempting to strangle havertz is not a card.

Do you think the club will purchase any players between now and the end of the transfer window? If so, what do you feel you need?

Greg Poulsen is having a stinkier. Not surprised cause I think he is the worst ref in the league.

Feels like a very clear bottom 4 of the 3 promoted teams and Everton. Anyone else I am missing?

In all seriousness, I'm a big fan of McTominay, and I believe we should be keeping him. Don't think it will happen, as we need the money, but in my opinion, he's a good player to bring from the bench and cause problems, as we saw yesterday when he was introduced.

I am surprised season after season by how poor referees can be in the world's best league. Craig Pawson has been terrible (again) and he is taking too much of a toll on the game with his weird rulings. I wish it was allowed to employ referees from all over the world, so that you could get the absolute best for England.

Please please please. I’d love this
He'd honestly be great for them as well. Big lad, puts himself about a bit, knack for getting onto things in the box, wouldn't be expected to play any actual football.

He's basically tailor made for that Doucoure role as the one playing off the striker in a Dyche team. Their fans would love him too, he'd be their new Cahill/Fellaini.
