Why isn't Aubameyang more in demand? Seems no one wants him.
Most of those who who can afford him don't need, and those who want him can't afford him

and some are just stupid :D

Well thank you for that but Mourinho seems to really want Morata and for good reason too perhaps. It's not long ago he was linked with a move to your club and now it looks as though he's stuck.

He's just not all that good. He'd make a difference to us and arsenal, but that's about it I reckon.. Good player, but the same age, twice the price and half the quality of RvP.
Maybe... I don't watch him enough but was sure he was going to move this summer. Also didn't know he was like 29.

Maybe clubs are concerned about his longevity.

His incredible pace is a large part of why he's so effective. He's 28 now, if he was to lose a few yards over the next couple of years his value could plummet.

He turned 28 less than a week ago and IMO he's the best striker on the market. FFS in the league he just outscored Lewandoski(who will be 29 by August) and Lewandoski plays for a far better team Bayern and it's definitely easier to score as a striker when you are playing for the biggest club by the far club in the league with the best players by far and supporting cast etc. I remember folks here wanking themselves silly due to reports of contact made with Lewandoski's entourage and here's a guy that just outperformed him.

I can understand people not wanting or liking him personally but it's so strange to see people underrating him.

was talking about PSG actually ;)

If Liverpool get a hold of Aubameyang, they're in play actually. Their defensive unit is still rather crap, but buying him would signal that they are a player in the market and could get a few more additions. Does not take that much either; a few of the German players like Hector and everything looks different on paper. I am not very jealous of the Salah-signing, he doesn't bring all that much, but Auba would be a huge one. Let's just hope he has no intention whatsoever to go there....

The only reason I don't want this guy to leave is that it increases the chance of Dortmund accepting a huge bid for Dembele which we will obviously put in this summer.

He isnt a mourinho type forward. Aubameyang is too mobile and fast for jose. Jose likes tanks upfront

I don't think he likes immobile strikers! It's more that he wants someone to hold up and link the play, as well as bully opposition defenders. All things that Auba is not particularly good at apparently (I haven't seen him much).

Thought he was going to Milan, then thought he was nailed on for PSG.

Why are teams not following through for him?

Remember reading he's looking for 10mil net per year. That's quite a lot when you add the 60mil+ fee Dortmund are looking for. Could be the reason.

That's quite a bit, what are some of our players on net?

If all big clubs lost interest in me and I was left with Liverpool as an option, I'd also want to be compensated with enormous wages to make joining them less depressing.

No way they can afford that, there's a reason cash rich PSG thought nah.
Well, PL clubs are raking in the money now. He'd be a massive coup for them given the usual standard of player they can attract so it wouldn't surprise me.

Where are these Liverpool rumours coming from? I'm seeing nothing about that in German media.

Usual game, just thrown enough shit to the wall hoping something sticks.

He is probably too expensive for Milan and he isn't better than Cavani.

I think he's better than Cavani(but there's not much between the two of them), but most importantly he and Cavani would make for a great pairing up top and PSG could afford him AND Alex Sandro AND Lemar

Aubameyang+Cavani > Cavani+Draxler

I also think if they had Auba instead of Cavani the 6-1 maybe doesn't happen

Honestly, if they have an even better player lined up(Cristiano, Bale, Lewandowski, Suarez, Neymar, Messi, Griezmann) or an equally good player that would fit them better(Alexis, Hazard, Dybala, Muller), or a young prodigy they feel they only have a chance to sign right now(Mbappé...Dembélé...) it would make sense

Otherwise them pulling out of the deal was stupid

Are Liverpool trying to build the ultimate FIFA 18 team or something? All about pace. Interesting approach to building a new fan base.

Most of the times you make sense but not on this one. Cavani was the only decent player against Barcelona, so no Aubameyang wouldn't have changed a thing, Thiago Silva bottled it and told his teammates to play low, Rabiot was sick and the general mindset of the players was wrong.
Aubameyang+Cavani is at no point superior to Cavani+Draxler, simply because the former is made of two players who are good at scoring goals but not good at creating them and they both have average technique.

What was stupid was to get involved in that deal after giving Cavani a new contract, fortunately Henrique came in time and pulled the plug.

Dude had two 30+ goal seasons in a row. He's an excellent striker and not just a pace merchant.

According to SportBild a move to Tianjin Quanjian for €80m is imminent, though the club has not received a formal offer yet.

Jesus Christ, that'd be the worst example of a prime player going to China yet.
Sure, if his preferred teams Barca and Real don't need him as of now it sucks for him but surely he could just stay at Dortmund and keep his options while playing for a big club in the cl instead of throwing his career away.

I don't think he'll move to China, but according to German media the Chinese offer him 30M per year. That's a lot of money.

Prime of his career, could go nearly anywhere in Europe. He chooses a team that sound like an evil Mortal Kombat character in China, greedy.

I don't think this will happen because with the new 100% tax on foreign signings it's €160 million.

I take it you won't shift to china if you are told you will earn 30mn a year to do the exact same job you are doing now.
