Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang| ESPN: Move to PSG very close

Valencia.
Anyway, I'm not wild on Aubameyang either but mercenary and reliance on pace have no link whatsoever.

I think he just means he's a speed merchenary. One of those ones that utilise their pace and agility to switch contracts faster than the eye can see and he ends up quadrupling his salary. He is known for it in fairness.

He'd be a dream signing but couldn't stand losing him to Madrid if he smashed it in the Prem.

Very strongly linked in the Spanish media today with Atletico, claiming the clubs and player are in discussion over the move.

Also in the Spanish media today is that Real have bid €50m for Alaba but Bayern are asking for €80m.

What is Bayern asking for Aubameyang?

Dortmund are their feeder club

Highly doubt that Athletico will fork out what Dortmund wants for Auba. We are talking about a €80m player here. Not Athleticos modus operandi at all.

How much did they pay for Falcao?

Wasn't that a shady 3rd party ownership deal and Atletico never really owned him, at least not completely? And Falcao then was transfered to Monaco because his 'owners' wanted to make money? Atletico should have less money than Dortmund, at least their revenue is quite a bit behind Dortmund's (281m Euro vs 187m according for the 14/15 season).

Wasn't comparing it to Dortmund. Just to say that they couldn't afford to buy him if they wanted to I don't really accept. Especially when they have a few players they could offload for a lot of money too.

EDIT: Pretty sure they are due a big revenue jump next season too, with the new TV deal and new stadium

Yeah, I didn't say that they can't afford him if they want to, but this isnt usually how they operate.

Also I can see Auba looking for a solid £200-250k\week for his next contract, are they willing to pay that?

Yeah, but I doubt it's a big enough jump to afford 80-100m players. I doubt Auba is worth that kind of money anyway, but Dortmund won't sell for less, so it won't happen even if Auba agreed to the deal (which I doubt after talking about his dream to play for Real for such a long time now) and if Atletico had the money.

I hope Dortmund don't lose any more players. They have an amazing attack and are a fantastic team to watch. Looking forward to seeing them in CL next season.

I'd be surprised if Atletico had the kind of money it would take and they'd be pretty foolish to pay so much for him.

So this guy came to Manchester to join City after all??!!

Fair play to City.

Aguero, Iheanacho and Aubamayang.

Not sentimental to Iheanacho like some fans think we should do with Rashford.

Would be worrying if true, he's class. Aguero, Auba and KDB front line would be amazing.

Not arsed by him. In the very small minority, before last season he was nowhere near mooted for the big clubs. Think he is like Vardy in terms of a great season, and everyone clamouring to sign him. Would still take Higuain over him, despite age

Aguero and Auba? Thought pep plays one up top?

Might be getting rid of Aguero, he's quite injury prone and he's at an age where they'd still receive a good fee for him.

He's bloody brilliant, mate. Think he's suited to the PL as well.

Can't really see it, Dortmund will not sell imo. And even then I am not too worried. City need improvements, but not in the striker area imo. Can't see them fitting Auba and Aguero into the team and you can't really put one on the bench either. Play one of them on the wing would be a waste too. Yeah if Aguero has his typical injuries, it's probably nice to have Auba, but overall wouldn't be too worried about that transfer.

And I just can't see it happen. Auba is the one where Dortmund has the control, doubt they will sell him. Di Marzio is very good when it comes to transfers with connections to Serie A, but I am not so sure if he knows his shit about that transfer. Wasn't he also the one, who said Oliver to Dortmund was a done deal, that didn't happen.
