Not really. Jones looks like a bulky, ball winning, tough tackling defender but he is actually very good on the ball. Hence he can play in midfield too.

With this signing, could Evans be moulded into the next Sheasy-type player? He made a few appearances at left back late last season, and it's looking unlikely he'll have too much of a future in central defence.
:/ Browns united career was over last season. HE was likely to move or remain on the periphery of the squad in any case. Evans on the other hand is about to find himself as 5th choice center back unless he re discovers his form asap
I've seen very little of him, the one match I can remember he was playing in midfield and his passing was hit and miss rather than classy as some feel it is on here. Might have just been an off-day... But one thing I can say for sure is that this guy knows how to put in a tackle. He made about 6 or 7 great slide tackles to win the ball in front of his defence. So yes he'd be perfect to sit in front of the defence when we need someone to do so.
