Agreed. Just saw the replay again. Why the fook would Jones even think about making that pass?
I dont think he thinks at all...

Just watched it again. Then when Burnley have the ball he starts spinning around. What's wrong with this guy? What was that brain dead hospital pass to Pereria all about? You have two closing you down so I'll play a bobbling ball to you.
I am sure that he will get new contract. He will end career hereWhatever we do. Don't renew his contract. I wanted him out from the final and it still stands.
That’s true, his absolute feckwittery negates a lot of the good things he does.Very inconsistent player who did a lot of good things during the game but is always liable to make mistakes. Did well to take the ball from a Burnley player who was just about to shoot but does dumb stuff like give away silly free kicks against opposition who are good at set plays. The pass to Andreas also wasn't the best idea.
I actually think he's a very good defender but his decision making is about as poor as his injury record.
That's not on Jones.
What mistake? We have been riding our luck with him for a long time without a mistake. Was bound to happen at one point I guess.
Made the wrong pass, it is pretty obvious. He waited to long and invited pressure, instead of making the obvious pass to Lindelof. He only passed to Pereira because he himself lost all other alternatives by dwelling on the ball, and Pereira came to rescue him, he then played the pass in front of Pereira so close to the path of the Burnley players Pereira only took one touch before 2 players were dead on him. Not much Pereira can do there, he was probably going to make the pass to Lindelof but the pass from Jones made him go the other way, right into trouble. Sometimes it is better for a defender to hoof when midfielders aren't showing for the ball instead of taking that risk of playing a dangerous pass.Incredible that he is being blamed for the pass, it was an normal pass to Pereira. Andreas feck it up trying to do some lame trick and lost the ball.

Also, he was terrible in resolving the situation he made. Making a pass like that, if it is not a mistake you should at least be prepared to anticipate danger and defend if it fails, if you know the risk involved in the play.
Don't think he was at fault for the goal, although there really weren't many options for Andreas to play to after he got the ball. Was alright today. I'm astonished he's played so much without an injury over the past month or so.

Apparently he's good in the air. Some caftards told me.That attempt at a header in the first half annoyed me, a lot more than it should've for something so small. It's defending 101.

Stealing a living at Utd for so long but thats not his fault when the club is run by owners and a CEO who clearly don't want to spend what it takes to bring in quality.
