PGA and European Tour Golf 2016

Hope Spieth wins, wish the TV rights weren't so restrictive that you miss out on the earlier players.

Also Els

I don't understand why they are so restricted. If they were crazy expensive but you had the option to buy proper coverage I might understand. But just not having it?

I feel like Casey always plays great golf on the first two days of the Masters? Am I imagining that or does he?

"The course will be much more difficult this year, we won't see guys running too far under par too early"

He's a machine the way he plays the game to such a structure. Doesn't get flustered or hassled, doesn't lose control of himself or take chances. Just has a plan and goes out and executes it to within inches. When his putter is working he's close to unmatchable.

You remember them saying that yesterday after the Par 3 then? FFS :( It could be over already ffs.

Yep. As well as "we definitely won't see anyone shooting -18 this weekend", so he'll probably go -20.

He certainly knows his way around here.

I've never seen anything that from Els (apart from by myself)

Edit: This doesn't show the first few putts, which were all from about 3 feet

You enjoying this display from Bubba, @langster?

To be honest I have only been half watching so far. Busy arguing with Litterbug on Soccer Manager. And also feeling rough as hell today :( But enjoyed his bogey just then.

BTW did you see who I said I wanted to win yesterday? Sergio, Westwood or Els. I have Noonan'd the feckin lot of them. I should have said Speith :(

LitterBug?! Tell him he's a cnut.

 you really ruined Els for sure

:( I love Ernie. Such a classy player and great guy. He hit one of my favourite ever shots here at Augusta.

Top 3 shots.

1. Tiger's Birdie from the Bunker on the 17th

2. Ernie's targeting rifle 3 wood off the deck on the par 5 13th that just arched round the corner hit the slope of the green and just followed round the green to finish inches from the cup for an eagle. Think it was 2004.

3. Mickelson's shot from the pine straw. WOW!

My favourite Tiger shot here was that chip that paused on the lip before dropping and then he went mental, that was great.

Yea that Phil shot from the pine needles was absolutely outrageous.

That's the Tiger shot I was on about, chipped out the bunker tracked all the way to the hole, paused, then dropped. BOOM! What a shot.

Bubba is after pulling off a fairly decent impression of that one today!

Yeah.

What a shot from Rory there.

That Tiger chip was one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen in golf. It was almost like a Ronaldo/Rooney/Tevez attack in that you knew it was going in from ages back but then it hung on the edge (giving Nike the best couple of seconds advertising they've ever had) long enought to make you doubt yourself, and then dropped. Pandemonium!

 that lie was probably worse than sand with the long grass behind the ball, horrible stuff

Yeah, that was an awful lie. I would have stopped on it for sure and nudged it about 4 foot in to the slope.

Think it was the 16th as well and not the 17th. FFS!

I swear to god I've been watching "Davis Love III for eagle" at these Masters since I was 10 years old!

McIlroy survives his bogey hole for this round at least.
