PGA and European Tour Golf 2016

number 6 just went in. Won't say as you are watching the highlights mate. I will say the greens seem to be set up for holes in one though. I need to play there, maybe I would get one.

Yea shame Tom is calling it a day.

Did you hear the story about him leaving an egg salad sandwich on the 13th tee?

His caddie always used to eat an egg salad sandwich on the 13th tee when they played the Masters.

Unfortunately he passed away on the eve of the 2004 tournament after suffering from ALS and so every year Tom leaves one on the bench behind the tee.

:(

Oh, I never heard that. That's awful, but lovely at the same time.

Yea I thought the same, sad but a nice classy touch.

It's what you would expect from Tom though, such a gentleman. I think the year he lost the Open to Stewart feckin Cink was the most unhappy I have ever been about any golfing result. :( It was a tough ask for him to perform so well for 4 days in a row, but I so wanted him to win. Would have been so deserved. I've disliked Cink ever since and yet he hasn't done anything to me, and seems a decent enough chap.

Just flicked over and saw a couple of replays, brilliant

It's been a joy to watch, great fun, really relaxed, fun commentary and some amazing golf shots. As I said, the greens and pins are set up for holes in one, especially the 2nd and 8th, but even so, 9 holes in one is amazing, nearly double the previous record.

Fowler's group looked a good laugh. Especially mic'd up.

Yeah, the best group by far.

I really like Ricky, I think he's a great player and a nice lad, I think (for some reason I can't work out) he takes monumental amounts of shit that he realty doesn't deserve. I read on a golf forum these guys absolutely slating the shit out of him saying he's just a hyped kid no better than a club pro :wenger:  Also he (and Ian Poulter) were rated the most overrated golfers in the word by some stupid poll in Sports Illustrated. Absolute bollocks and completely insane too.

Yea agreed, I like him he seems a good lad.

People just love to hate.

I can't wait for someone to win the Par 3 and then go on to win the main event, just to stop them banging on about it every year!

I've backed Bubba outright, with e/w's on Snedeker, Koepka, and Willett. And done 20 entries to the DraftKings millionaire maker. I'd better bloody hit something!

I'm not gonna put a bet on, but I'll back Rory to win overall, with then rest of the top 5 made up of Day, Spieth, Fowler and Willett.

I hope it's either Sergio, Westwood or Rory. After the way Bubba reacted to his playing partner getting a hole in one yesterday, I hope the miserable fecker gets the shanks. No room for bad sportsmanship and miserable cnuts in golf. :nono:

I saw that but I thought he was taking the piss?

Nah, I don't think so, Butch and co said he wasn't happy at all because it cost him money because of all the betting between groups. I may be wrong, but the commentators were ripping him for being so ungracious and not applauding his partners great shot, so dunno. :wenger:

I'd like to think he was putting it on, but obviously if he was being serious and actually unhappy about it then I agree with you.

Yeah, I admit I would love to be wrong, and hope I am. It was some damn good acting if not though as he looked genuinely miffed, absolutely pissed right off. Can't wait for tonight!

Bit of a tangent, but I'm home so watching the recording of the par 3 - I can't believe Butch just commented on Ricky Fowler's sisters boiler suit being 'a bit tight'! :nervous:

Missed all of yesterday hope to download yesterday's action to watch when I get in later

I know it was only the P3 but I always enjoy watching that :)

Can't wait to watch this all weekend. I'm going to it the next time it falls on my easter holidays. Was trying to calculate it and i think it's a few years away yet. But can't wait to tick it off the bucket list.

Does, errrr, anyone, errrr, enjoy, errrrrr, listening, errrrrrr, to, errrrr, Colin 'errrrrrrr' Montgroanerie?
