Worst of the best
would actually be funny of Suarez wins this
Bit ridiculous that Gordon Taylor is trying to 'justify' Suarez' nomination. What needs justifying? Tit.
I thought the PFA were changing their "voting in February" thing? They haven't?
All bias aside, I'd give it to Gareth Bale
Are the awards tonight?
Thanks D.
When did the voting close? RVP hasn't been great recently but if the voting ended end of Feb, then I reckon he's a sure thing.
eh no, obviously it not but dare to think outside the box for a second. how influential a player is over the course of the season is arguably THE deciding factor, and if RVP has been that factor in the most succesful club over the years then hes obviously made a big impact this season. Hes clearly been hugely motivated by playing with a set of players and manager with a winning mentality. Deserves his title, anything else is just a bonus.

Well if he win it, it must be something. Anyway he won't get it and he shouldn't. In fact I think that he shouldn't have been nominated at all, and both Rafael and De Gea have been superior and have deserved much more than him to be nominated for the award. But unlike him, they are not Englishman playing in the Premier League.
I saw someplace else this whole Englishmen thing and one person was saying the percent of Englishmen on the PFA awards finalist lists are roughly the same as the percent of Englishmen in the league. Might have been British not English and of course the person might be wrong.

I was just talking about this case. I like Welbeck and think that he'll be a great player for us, but I don't think that he should have been nominated, let alone win it. And I think that the nationality means something why he has been nominated. Gutted for both Rafael and De Gea who bar Bale and probably Hazard deserved more than anyone else to be there.
Why?
Why not ? No other player has lifted his team like he has this season.Such a difference maker he is
RvP surely
Bale's won..... My mum's brothers sisters cousin, you know the rest.....
It'll be a disgrace if Suarez wins. I think he scored a hattrick right before the voting, and was temporarily the top scorer in the league. RvP went through a slump just as the voting took place, but has since taken back his place as top scorer and obviously has been a massive influence on United winning the title. If there's any justice, RvP will win, but I'm wary itll actually be Suarez.
Wouldnt mind if Bale won either though tbf
Having a discussion in the Scottish Football thread over whether the most talented player or the player who has the best season should win the award. I'd say the best season, what does everyone else think?
