With De Gea I think you have to expect the problems that go with it if you want the long term rewards. That being said it's all about how a young keeper comes back from mistakes mentally...he'll have that to come.

With Reina, although a safer bet you need to write off 20 Million pounds over the course of his contract, together with his salary would then make him a very expensive acquisition.
