'Pep' Guardiola sack watch

It could also be that Pep wants out.
After just signed a contract in Nov? No this is either he lost the dressing room or the reality settling in that all these years what ever they won was all tarnished and everything went to waste. People under estimate what will happen to the players who received payments in UK legally and offshore payments they received to keep FPP down over the years. The legal implication and years of work being tarnished is going to be very heavy on every players past and present. All the trophy, all the accolades they have gathered is going to be in question for years to come, and on top of that, it will open up the way they became complicit to launder money offshores.
Once they retire, when they take up pundit jobs, this will be a constant thorn on their career. The ridicule, the comment sections, the fan talks, call in all will be wild.

So last 13 games: 1 win, 3 draws and 9 defeats. They probably can't wait for January transfer window to come to try save the season.

I don’t see an obvious signing out there for them at the moment. Maybe some fresh legs in midfield?

Theres positions all over the pitch they could target.
They dont have a full back worth mentioning in the squad. They dont have cover for Rodri both defensively and as a playmaker. KDB needs replacing. None of their wingers are especially convincing and grealish looks a bust. The only thing that squad doesn't need is a cb.

Interesting that their spending has somewhat diminished over the last few years, which is the cause to some degree of their current problems.

I wonder if they're at least trying to some degree to comply with the FFP rules, and I'm also wondering if players are now hesitant to join them because of the charges?

I would say they have been signing duds in the last 2 seasons. Doku Grealish Kovacic Nunez Savinho(too early to judge) have been flops to varying degree

Will be harder to compete now that PSR has set level playing field. Can't hide those under the table payments they made to land top players.I guess we will see them break sponsor deal records from more companies linked to Abu dhabi

to me, he's about to prove a lot of critics right - completely unable to rebuild the team effectively despite big money, unable to manage the team he has out of a rough spell, so he will spend spend spend come january. He just does not have that extra level that other greats have/had.

Tbf, he's did rebuild once. So far, he's failed with the second.

And since the new FFP rules come in. He’ll struggle to build effectively with the amount of spending he’ll be able to do.

Reported tonight that Pep and his wife of 30 years Cristina Serra have decided to go their separate ways

Made the decision in December but the news is only just filtering into the public domain now.

I can imagine Pep being very difficult to live with, somehow.

Wtf is happening here?

Just sign the damn march bro
Another tweet had a community note saying that he know those guys and that they previously went up to his house to "demand" autographs, only to resell them after.

he also gets 22 million a year off the back of fans of the game who want a shitty signature it will take him 3 seconds to sign. its not like theyve shown up at his house.
Except they aren't fans, they are touts known to him from previous encounters.

What fans bring boxes of merch?

Also they have previously turned up at his house.

Who said these people showed up at his house? Did he release ring cam footage?

Cant beat Spurs at home, cant make a marriage work. And they say he's the GOAT?

Oh shit I forgot to post about it on here, but before Christmas I was speaking to a City fan who said rumour round the Etihad was Pep was having an affair with a physio or something? And it was causing friction in the dressing room.

Could be true after all.

Well it would if he's trying to do his team talk.

Maybe the scratches after the Spurs defeat weren't self harm after all.

With all of the oils she has, you'd imagine friction would be the last thing they have to worry about.

Multiple people online, who know them from the area. I mean your average football fan doesn't carry around boxes of merch to get signed now do they?
You can even hear one of them say "I used to be a chef before I did this"

Yeah. The fact he gets so agitated by an annoying, sure, but rather harmless and banal thing is very Pep.
Except when people who are known touts and he's dealt with before stop you with boxes of merch and openly admit they're only getting it signed to sell it on like in the video. Guy literally says it's what he does.
