'Pep' Guardiola sack watch

Obvious what’s happened.
Hotel Man City.
You can check out any time you like,
but you can never leave.

The results are bad enough but I haven’t seen a City team with so little fight. They’re losing 50-50’s, not closing down allowing teams to get right up into their back line and dare I say it look lazy at times

Never thought I’d see that in a Pep side. The record they have without Rodri is also absolutely baffling I mean he must carry this side so much
Cycling off season on the cafinee and other performance stuff ala Liverpool under klopp?

It's still hard to tell if it's a dip in form, if his dull style has finally been found out, or if he's just given up and wants out.

I'm covinced it's the latter.

he’s just fondling himself at work. nothing wrong with that. he’s just in the spotlight. i’m sure i’d get some weird kind of hate if people videoed me fondling myself at the deli counter. just take your olives and feck off.

They were always going to have an off season eventually. Four titles in a row with a treble included. Eventually you need a reset. Even Fergie had an off year after three in a row.

I don’t see them winning the league. No Rodri and their form would have to be near perfect from here.

Hilarious if he actually gets sacked, but no chance he will be, his pride will have him resign before that becomes a possibility. That and the fact he's bigger than the club.

If they don’t win the league this year. You bet they will next season. They will get the anger and pain from these losses that take them out of the fold this year and Pep will lead his team to it again. He’s very similar to Sir Alex in that regard. There’s no doubt about that.

Watch out all those teams in the championship.

   insane post

I have literally forgotten what winning feels like. Has a manager ever been sacked days after a contract renewal? Asking for a friend.

This is why i dont rate Barcelona, Messi, Iniesta, Xavi aswell as La liga in general as a top league.

Its all built up perfectly in a system but an injury to one and its all messed up especially to winning trophies.

We saw this happen to Barcelona, Some of the defenders went away, Xavi went retired, then Iniesta and as that was going their presence as a team especially in the UCL went away even if messi was scorinf for fun in La Liga.

Rodri is very important to them to hit their absolute peak just as any of Busquets, Xavi & Iniesta were. Kind of all relying on each other.

Still great partnerships as most teams are built of - for example Pirlo & Gattuso but for me I dont rate them as highly as others do.

Kind of lucky to not have an injury - because City with Rodri for another season could have won them another CL on top of PL.

They will win the Scottish second division by some distance

Guardiola without the best defensive midfielder in the world is basically Ten Hag.

I joked with my man city friend earlier this season: if you give Ten Hag rodri, haaland and fit de bruyne, our positions this season and last season would be swapped

I still think my statement is truth.
