We all know that he's a hard working teamplayer but here's a video purely focussed on his finishing (straight to the point with decent music as well):

He really is unbelievable two-footed, left right left right, he doesn't even seem to think about which foot to use. A really underrated ability, I always hate it as a viewer when a player is hesitant to cross/pass/shoot because he would have to use his weak foot.
Added to the fact that he knows how to play in a possession based style, can be used on both wings and the fee seem to be reasonably low, this transfer would really tick all the boxes, I hope it goes through.

Pedro is good and all but I could make a decent compilation of Valencia's left footed attempts. Don't trust YT.

Highly doubt it, valencia uses his left foot about a handful of times all season. Everyone who watches Pedro knows how two footed he is and how great of a finisher he is though, that video just has examples.

Let us just hope this is not a Fabregas type saga, where we are led to believe he is interested only to stay.
Since LVG has taken over and the way we've made our signing's this one doesn't fit that criteria (in terms of a long hall saga) which I'm beginning to think our we even interested as I cant see Ed being Fabregassed again...

Great clip @Kasper , really does highlight his finishing ability.

Now I'm not saying he is anywhere near as good as Aguero but looking at that there there are similarities alright. He has that low centre of gravity Aguero has, could adapt to the PL very well hopefully. Two footed and lethal finishing.

Please god Woody gets this deal done!

Not trying to be an ass or anything, but would love to see that. Valencia with his left foot would be great to view.

Let us hype this man into something that he is not, that will make us all happy when we see his real level! :)

Good player, looks like the type LvG likes, not that expensive.

If we do get Pedro, and Rooney gets injured, he might be the best choice for playing central striker. He's so deadly from out wide I've always considered him a wide striker rather than a winger or midfielder.

He won't be able to play against Spurs anyway and I believe the intention for Barcelona is to keep him for the Sevilla game. Perfect scenario for them would be to keep him until January when Vidal and Turan join but we won't agree with that. Fully expect him to be here by the end of month.

great video, love the pace he has and his composure is fantastic. The way he places the ball into the net is classy, love it if he signs for us, just hope he comes and doesn't stay at Barca.

He makes good runs but the passes he receives are incredible. I'm afraid we have nowhere near that level of creativity in our team to make take advantage of those runs.

wow that clip uptop. Take a bow. I pray we finalise this shortly now Di Maria has gone.

Memphis, Herrera, Mata, Carrick, Schweinsteiger are all more then capable of picking out passes, they're all creative players (though Mata hasn't shown it enough). You could argue though that we haven't had anyone making these sorts of runs for a while. No pace in our front players for the most part. Di Maria can pick a through pass as good as anyone, but he didn't do it that often last season because all he had to aim for was RvP and Falcao. No pace up front. All creative players look better when they have quick players making intelligent runs in behind so they can actually give them through passes. We'll see a lot more of it with Pedro and Memphis compared to last season. Not to the same extent as Barca of course, but we should still see a big improvement.

especially now they should be unshackled and allowed to think creatively and with freedom instead.

I think Pedro will have a lot more success compared to Di Maria. Di Maria left Real Madrid for all the wrong reasons, he left for money and because he wasn't prepared to challenge James for a spot in Real's first team. Pedro on the other hand is looking for a new challenge and a chance to prove himself as a quality player, he has a high work ethic and will work very hard this year because i'd assume he'd like to compete in the euros in a years time. Also he can replace De Gea in the spanish trio once he leaves :D

Very well said.

By the same arguments I am of the opinion that signing Ramos is a big risk, as it was with di Maria

Must be any day, now that Di Maria's gone. Can't wait to see Pedro-Rooney-Depay front 3

I am more worried about the handling of Adama Traore. That guy is a raw talent; his decision making needs to improve which will happen as he gets more exposure. It would have been better to keep him when Pedro was leaving. Weird decision to let him leave, I hope that's just a loan.

I think Ramos would struggle in the PL, and again I don't think he would be moving for the right reasons, he's already a first team player on one of the best teams in the world. Him moving to United would only be to appease the wishes of his father or for the monetary aspect of the move. And in all likelihood Madrid would be willing to match any contract United offer/offered to Ramos.

What's happening with this? All around the forum I've seen seeing people inserting him in formations and in the Di Maria thread, you have people saying stuff like "once Pedro is here", yet I can't find anything that looks remotely concrete about the transfer being done or close to being done?

Nahh.. this one is done dealio.
Pep comments about him not knowing he'll stay or not does it for me. Pedro wants to start, he'll not going to get that in Barca. In here he'll got it. All reports shows that the haggling of the price is minimal, we offered 26-27 million euro, they wants 30 mill. I trust Woody to close this one. Hate the feck out of him when he scored the opener in the CL final, but he's always been a really classy finisher. He would add pace and finishing upfront, something we lack last season

It was the tweet that said Pedro will make a decision soon. So misleading, will be p*ssed if it is not for real.

And his celebrations are also cool, unrestrained and down to earth. What could go wrong?

Now I'm no fan of Di Maria and reckon Pedro would be a great signing but you're really reaching there.

Seems fairly clear Di Maria was pushed, rather than walked, out of Madrid and if Pedro leaves Barca it will need to be driven by the player himself, presumably because we'll pay him lots of money and he doesn't fancy his chances of getting games ahead of Suarez or Neymar.

It's done mate.

He'll instantly be my favorite Spanish player ever if he joins, btw.

Its done like dinner amigo...relax :)

Between Schwein, Herrera, Mata and Carrick we'll be fine.

Part of the problem we've had over the last 2-3 seasons is we have nobody making those runs. RVP lacked the pace so tended to come short, Rooney spent most of the time in midfield and Hernandez was packed off to Real.

oooh source?. Im well excited about it.

Oh, I mean't it's close to being done as it's been reported by reliable sources - although idk if that means anything. Since you mentioned you couldn't find anything reporting it being close on your OP.

On other note, there's like 200 Pedro - Welcome to Man United videos on Youtube atm..

If we played Januzaj top, Herrera at 10, Mata right and Pedro left I would think we might have some fun :).

And fantastic clip Kasper :)!!

Anyone else thing the delay in the Pedro deal could be because were using him as a back up and were trying for someone else? A marquee name? I don't see that there would be any other reason for a delay. Seasons fast approaching so would be better to get him bedded in asap rather than delay.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm not totally convinced it'll happen.

To get those finesse shots it's clear that he uses 'RB' when he presses 'B' to shoot.

I know all of this because my 11-year old taught me- still can't beat him though!
