For some pessimistic reason I think we'll see him at the Allianz arena before we see him at OT. Hope we can get him as we haven't had a right sided player with class in ages.

There's not been a suggestion at all that he'll go to Bayern, according to Ballague we've agreed terms with him, there's not many more reliable than him for Spanish transfers.

The only hope in this case is that Guardiola already bought a new winger, and I can't see Pedro take the risk to compete with Robben, when he can be a regular starter for us.

Why would Guardiola want him, he's 28, if he's on about replacing Robben and Ribery he isn't going to replace them with someone that age. It'll be De Bruyne if anyone.

There was a young man called Pedro
We're signing him, it said in the Metro
On the left of a three
He assisted Rooney
The man with the face of potato

Next Tuesday isn't that far off, I don't think they want him until after the Spanish Super Cup just the European one. Considering that even if we signed him today he probably wouldn't feature in the Spurs match, it doesn't make much difference to us if he signs on the 12th. If he gets injured playing that match then it's another matter..

He could. He's had a full pre season

Experienced, quality player for a bargain price.

Yes, we still need more but that star si.ply isn't out there this season. We will just have to wait.

What do you guys think of him leaving?

Most want him to stay, as he's one of the most likeable players around. Works hard, tracks back and gives it all every night. He also is a big game player who scored in every tournament out there, so not shy to step up ever since he got promoted. I think that we will miss his presence as an established flexible forward that we can totally depend on in case of injuries or resting any of the trio. Right now we have two youngsters in Sandro and Munir, with talks of us signing Nolito (Celta Vigo, but former Barca B player), which doesn't make sense as he'll miss out on 4 months. I hoped that selling Pedro will mean promoting Adama but the latter seems on his way to Stoke City all of a sudden.

All in all, yeah I'm devastated a bit. If he was leaving in the winter it would've been ideal. Otherwise we'll need some luck on our side and a hopeful step-up from our young subs.

Feck big game players, we need to beat the West Broms and Leicesters. How does he perform against smaller teams??

Also, Stoke buying exclusively from Barca. What a time to be alive.

Him and Busquets are such hipster favorites on that Barca squad, just like Carrick on United's best teams.

The man with the face of potato

He came in to fill the right flank
After rat face turned out to be wank
He proved that his balls
Were as big as Van Gaals
And there's still plenty left in the tank

Has Wikipedia got Barca goal scorers by season (couldn't find it), or would you have to just work through every relevant player's page and hope you donn't forget anybody?
just type Barcelona (insert) season wiki. it has all the stats

Wish we could announce him right now. Get the spineless one to become nothing but, a memory.

Go to barca 2008/09 season and it lists all goalscorers. It becomes obvious that only Pedro and Messi have been that long and Pedro has outscored Ibra, Villa, Nerman etc in individual seasons.

98 goals in 318 games is very good when you've been sharing the spoils with Messi, Neymar, Suarez, Sanchez, Villa, Zlatan, etc.

He's won everything and is in his prime. He'll walk into our team.

Here we go, last 8 seasons. Messi take the piss, as know:

Player Seasons Goals
Messi 8 386
Pedro 8 93
Xavi 8 57
Eto'o 2 54
Neymar 2 51
Henry 3 49
Villa 3 46
Fàbregas 3 41
Bojan 4 41
Iniesta 8 36
Piqué 7 26
Suarez 1 25
Sánchez 4 23
Keita 4 22
Ibrahimović 1 21
Tello 3 19
Alves 7 19
Sanchez 1 18
Adriano 5 16
Puyol 7 13
Busquets 5 10

Sanchez is at 47, Neymar is at 54... The others are probably around right.
Also for Pedro, it is 8 seasons but the first 2 seasons he only made a handful of appearances each season as he was a youngster then. And to get those numbers while being largely a squad player rotating in and out of the side is great really, you can't blame him too much for not being as good as Neymar/Suarez in order to start ahead of them.

If/When he comes, I think he'll be a great signing for us and will surprise a lot of people who aren't that excited. His pace, goalscoring and quick thinking will be hugely beneficial to us.

He'll be a Rakitic-esque buy as in people don't expect him to be flashy or anything but still good enough to be a starter and help the team win trophies.
