It’s not adding £275k, as Lukaku is currently on £200k. So it is adding £75k. (£3.9m per year).
United aren’t paying Mane, Salah and Kane though. Plus those players have highly incentivised Contracts.
United can afford to pay higher wages than other domestic rivals, that’s just a fact.
The revenue to wage percentage remains at circa 50%, which is a very healthy figure and is better than the revenue/wage percentage of most clubs in the league.
When you earn more money and have much bigger sponsorship deals, you can afford to pay higher wages.
I just don't think it's a signing we ever considered but one that's too good to be turned down if it's being offered on a plate to us. We're getting to bring in a good player and get rid off a striker we anyway don't want.

Dzeko is 33, Cavani is 32, and Icardi is apparently a playboy type footballer. If they get Lukaku at 26 and he gets them 20-30 goals a season which i can see him getting, it really won't be stupid of them for a long term plan. I think its more riskier for us if Dybala works out here than if Lukaku works out there.
Everything about Juve right now screams short term success to win the CL while Ronaldo is there anyway. They'd not be selling off the likes of Dybala and Kean if was anything else. Hence, them signing low risk players like Dzeko and Cavani makes more sense to me than Lukaku (untested in Serie A) and not exactly the greatest partner/foil for Ronaldo or a good match for Sarri ball.
So we could chuck darmian into the deal too, which ironically would free up cancelo to go to city. Dominoes
People on here are so fecking self conscious and lacking in any confidence ffs, coming up with shite like pretending they dont want a big player just because that player might be like Di Maria or Sanchez. Its fecking Man United, we'll always be a massive club, and we'll always have that lure for others. Some players might not turn out well, but that will always happen. you’re being too emotional about it. His preference is to stay at juve. Why wouldn’t he? Beckham preferred to stay with us, we still sold him. Just because he would prefer to stay with his current team doesn’t mean he won’t embrace United should he realise he doesn’t fit into juve’s plans. He’s a professional like everyone else. yeh but if they are trying to go all out and win the CL why do they feel they will stand a better chance with Sarri over Allegri. It doesnt make much sense to me. Yes you can fluke a CL win like RDM did but if thats the case why change the manager. May aswell try and fluke it with allegri.
It's not so much he's being forced out of the club as much as he doesnt have a key role there anymore so collectively there's no point in keeping a player that valuable when you arent getting his value out of him. Dybala himself won't want to stay if he isn't valued and if he doesn't have a more important role, so is it really all that bad? A player moving because he wants to be a key player and won't be that in the current set up?
