That would be pretty decent businessYou should deduct the Lukaku wage - then its merely a 75k increase. Darmian is probably on these wages, so we will be even if sell Darmian as well

There are already rumors of Higuain heading to Roma. If Juve wanted to go for Dzeko they could easily propose a swap or just pay the 20m or so they seem to want for him. There are better players than Lukaku (Icardi, Cavani) they could try for or decent short term options like Dzeko while still retaining Dybala as an option or finding a buyer for him.
It really isn't. 275k is a shit ton of money to add to your wage bill. I'm sure it's comfortably more than the likes of mane, salah, kane etc.
I'm delighted we're getting Dybala! I just think it's not going to happen because it just still seems so ridiculously stupid of Juve. What’s your point we didn’t force the option to sign him. So football clubs will never make a mis judgement? If that’s the case Arsenal would have never got Henry. Just smile and hope it works out for us. I don’t get the point of being so skeptical.
Kane doesnt even play for a big club. How much do you think he'll ask if we were to sign him?It really isn't. 275k is a shit ton of money to add to your wage bill. I'm sure it's comfortably more than the likes of mane, salah, kane etc.
Makes me wonder whether Ole really wants him and this isn't just another "marquee signing" for Ed and his commercial/marketing concerns. He'd be our second superstar, third if you include DDG, shouldnt be a problem with Ed and Judge. He'll make a ton in shirt sales.

I just don't think it's a signing we ever considered but one that's too good to be turned down if it's being offered on a plate to us. We're getting to bring in a good player and get rid off a striker we anyway don't want.Makes me wonder whether Ole really wants him and this isn't just another "marquee signing" for Ed and his commercial/marketing concerns.
Wouldnt believe any of those "reports" from shite sources who make shit up based on nothing just because Di Marzio said a conversation will happen. He might see Barca and Madrid as the pinnacle, but tbf, the vast majority of footballers do. Doesn't mean they'll ever play for them, and sure as hell doesn't mean that Dybala doesn't want the prem. Dybala has history that shows he clearly does value United and respects the club as a massive club. Let's not forget this post before we played them...Exactly. If he's going to come under duress, there's no point in him signing for United.
If I were a player, I would put more effort playing for AC Milan than I would for Real Salt Lake. I'm not a fan of either, but I respect the former more because I grew up with them as a famous institution.
If reports are true that Dybala doesn't want to come to England and only fancies the big Spanish clubs, then fair dues. I can see why his upbringing would instill that sporting perspective, so best of luck to him over there. Those teams are the ones he respects as famous institutions instead.
United don't need somebody who sees us as a payday rather than a cause to be proud of.

Everything about Juve right now screams short term success to win the CL while Ronaldo is there anyway. They'd not be selling off the likes of Dybala and Kean if was anything else. Hence, them signing low risk players like Dzeko and Cavani makes more sense to me than Lukaku (untested in Serie A) and not exactly the greatest partner/foil for Ronaldo or a good match for Sarri ball.Dzeko is 33, Cavani is 32, and Icardi is apparently a playboy type footballer. If they get Lukaku at 26 and he gets them 20-30 goals a season which i can see him getting, it really won't be stupid of them for a long term plan. I think its more riskier for us if Dybala works out here than if Lukaku works out there.

People on here are so fecking self conscious and lacking in any confidence ffs, coming up with shite like pretending they dont want a big player just because that player might be like Di Maria or Sanchez. Its fecking Man United, we'll always be a massive club, and we'll always have that lure for others. Some players might not turn out well, but that will always happen. Doesn't mean you completely give up on those types of signings if you have the chance to make them, and sure as feck doesnt mean that the player will disrespect the club or give up on it quickly.
I would understand them signing Lukaku if atleast it made some amazing footballing sense for them and he fit in like a glove with the general Sarri philosophy or was just a guaranteed success but, no, I just do not get itI see your point, Lukaku and Sarri ball don't work. I'm not sure whether he'd work good with Ronaldo, they may end up working great but we'll see. However Juve just signed De Ligt, young and ambitious. That ain't short term so they want a balance of young and old. Lukaku may fit that.
I maybe clutching on reasons why theyd want Lukaku because even i don't fully understand why
Exactly. If he's going to be sold under duress, there's no point in him signing for United.

Doesn't make him a bad person, but it does make him a bad fit.

If they wanted to win the CL asap do you think hiring sarri made sense? cuz i dontEverything about Juve right now screams short term success to win the CL while Ronaldo is there anyway. Not much about Juve this summer seems to make sense. Even less so if they sell Cancello as well.If they wanted to win the CL asap do you think hiring sarri made sense? cuz i dont

you’re being too emotional about it. His preference is to stay at juve. Why wouldn’t he? Beckham preferred to stay with us, we still sold him. Just because he would prefer to stay with his current team doesn’t mean he won’t embrace United should he realise he doesn’t fit into juve’s plans. He’s a professional like everyone else. It’s ridiculous football fan sentimentality that thinks our players are all born and bred United fans. They are pros and it’s their careers. We are the fans.
Di Maria is a recent example of why.you’re being too emotional about it. His preference is to stay at juve. Why wouldn’t he? Beckham preferred to stay with us, we still sold him. at the time. Absoluetly not. Old high wages and a choke artist in Cup competitions. They were already winning the league. Was weird .Was Higuaín worth the £80m Juventus paid for him after we bought Pogba?
I’m pretty sure he wasn’t and Juve overpaid just to feck over Napoli (voluntarily?).
Did anyone think Di Matteo would win the Champions League? It’s not always about the manager. It’s also about players and more so about luck.If they wanted to win the CL asap do you think hiring sarri made sense? cuz i dont
Robinho is another example of one.The idea that a player would join a club, against his will, then spend the next seven years deliberately ruining his career in a huff.

Talk sport just said Juve are trying to include Mandzukic in the deal?
yeh but if they are trying to go all out and win the CL why do they feel they will stand a better chance with Sarri over Allegri. It doesnt make much sense to me. Yes you can fluke a CL win like RDM did but if thats the case why change the manager. May aswell try and fluke it with allegri.Did anyone Di Matteo would win the Champions League? It’s not always about the manager. It’s also about players and more so about luck.
It's not so much he's being forced out of the club as much as he doesnt have a key role there anymore so collectively there's no point in keeping a player that valuable when you arent getting his value out of him. Dybala himself won't want to stay if he isn't valued and if he doesn't have a more important role, so is it really all that bad? A player moving because he wants to be a key player and won't be that in the current set up?Robinho is another example of one.
Talk sport is always rubbishTalk sport just said Juve are trying to include Mandzukic in the deal?
Mandzukic AND Dybala for Lukaku? That's even more unlikely to be trueTalk sport just said Juve are trying to include Mandzukic in the deal?
Apparently Woody is asking for too much money on top of Dybala.Talk sport just said Juve are trying to include Mandzukic in the deal?
