There is no way this lad is a '#6' 'DM' or whatever you want to call it. Just no chance.

It'd be such a waste to play him there.

Would love to see him here in Fellaini's position though

That assist tonight was the sort of thing I want to see Fellaini doing most games.

Not that I'm getting down on Fellaini, he's had a great season, but he's well capable of adding that sort of threat.

Just isn't always as clever in terms of movement and getting himself onside etc.

I thought defensively he played well in that midfield, not his best game on the ball though.

I thought he was rubbish tbh, and expected a lot more considering the hype he's been getting.

A nice upgrade on Fellaini with Gundagon.. We are good to go next season.

He is just back from injury played his first match on Saturday in 2 months.

Just lacks the match sharpness tbh.

Just because a journalist says it doesn't mean that's what LVG is thinking, I doubt Van Gaal told him that.

He's not the only one thats been saying it. Plenty on here have touted him as a 'Carrick replacement'.

Just came back from injury I guess. Will be intrigued to see how he does in the final

Didn't see him for large parts of the game and he had a few terrible passes to lose possession in the final third but every now and then you could see his class. Just lacks match sharpness perhaps.

Thought he was rubbish in the first half but much improved after the break. There's no doubting his talent but he's not the finished article.

Yup, had a quiet game. Not sure what the commentators were on about.

Looking through some of the comments, you'd think people haven't realised he's just come back from after 2 months out with a hamstring injury. He wasn't great tonight, but considering he's been out for quite long, in a game of such magnitude, I'd say he done pretty damn well. Also played a massive part in the goal.

its some desperation to be proven right about something most are 100% wrong about.

The commentators definitely went overboard.

He wasn't greatly involved, under 40 touches I believe.

What he did, he did largely well. When he tried to be too clever he usually lost it.
The commentators I was listening to seemed to think that not cracking under pressure of the big game was enough to heep praise on him. And fair enough he made no major blunders and he is still quite young.

2 months out, thrown right back into a CL semi final away from home and voila, a below average performance. Just what the caf needed to justify the hurt they have within them from us letting him go.
He'll be challenging for Ballon D'or in the next few years.

Poor, which is understandable given he's just coming back after a while.

What are you on about???? THE PLAYERS AREN'T IMPORTANT!.....I simply mentioned two players who seem to love it at United. Throw Smalling in there, Jones, Shaw...whoever ya want.
He also had some not so flattering comments about Fergie.
So hows about ya lose the attitude and keep your opinions to yourself if ya can't be civil. You're the one that replied to my comment in the first place if ya haven't forgotten.

Ya needs to learn, this is a public forum & whatever ya say will be open to debate.

Simply pointing out the error of your opinion. Quit being butt hurt & back up your opinion with something that may actually support what you're trying to get across. For myself I've never seen any comment from Pogba saying he has any issues with Manchester United, simply that he felt he wasnt given the chances he felt he deserved by Fergie.

Aye, Pogba would be a perfect fit next to Herrera and with a holding midfielder behind him/them.

Yep agree with that but for £50M+ there are much better options out there from what I am seeing for what we need right now. Someone like say a Modric would help us far more in the next 2-3 years. Pogba is an unbelievable prospect though no doubt about it.

Coming off an injury so obviously not very involved.

Does seem to posses loads of technical ability though. Changes direction so easily.

Despite so much talk here I've barely seen the guy.

I actually thought he looked fairly decent last night. Did all the simple things right. Crucial header for the goal as well.

I always rated Modric and was a huge advocate of signing him from Spurs a year or two before Madrid came swooping, but I think it is a bit too late now, better to look for a younger player who can be part of the core of the team for the long term.

Whilst the prices touted for Pogba are pretty silly, if he is with the club 5-10 years and/or we resell him for a similar fee, you have to consider it good business. I would rather £60m for Pogba than £30m for Modric, for this reason.
