Because according to some people on here, we'll be too busy with Rooneys testimonial and the Community Shield to deal with the Pogba transfer, plus because he's on holiday things will be put on hold.
I'm pretty sure a couple of games aren't going to hold up anything and if they really wanted too, Pogba could be called back off holiday to wrap things up, or things could be done in the US

think it will be announced when its all done, whether that be this week next week or transfer deadline day, its a massive deal, looks like its just taking a while to cross all the t's and dot all the i's
 
Sky Sports article pretty much confirms it is done.

Doubt there will be an announcement at our end until he has finished his holiday, as we will want pictures of him in the shirt etc.

Juve may confirm it at some point this week.

That would've been my guess as well. I'm just baffled by all the uneducated guesses and claims people make in here.

Btw, I very much agree with the second part of your post.

Again, that could be done in the US, it could be done in Manchester, it could be done in my back room! Doesn't really matter where it's done, same if he's on holiday or not. We could call him in from his holiday, get all the formalities out the way, do a couple of interviews then let him get back on his way until his holiday is done.
The simple fact is, it's not done yet because it's a complex deal, theres lots to get done. Patience is key

It's not just Pogba, Evra has a longer holiday too. Juventus decided so, it's their right.
 
Felt like a laugh and.... did they delete the MASSIVE pogba thread on blue moon? I can't find it. Had a good laugh at it in May when they said they weren't interested and just getting ready for the meltdown in next few days..
 
I have waited over a week now to admit I was wrong when I said Pogba to United will not materialize. :( I have gotten so many excuses ready too as to why I was being rather reasonable back then.

I imagine the Juve fans wouldn't want him training with their club at this point and he can't train with us till he's signed...

Not sure. When I was on the bus earlier I was going through my Twitter feed and Adidas had Tweeted about "Watch this space" regarding our video. I read the comments and people were asking stuff about Pogba, which they ignored.
 
Some people are saying that Pogba has been removed from the Juve store website, some are saying he's still there.

Which is true? When I visit there on my laptop, I can't see any images of him.
