Why is everyone worrying about him finishing his (obviously planned) holidays?

He is not "late", he is perfectly on time with his post tournament schedule. Late would be signing him August 31st. I'm sure Jose is thoroughly annoyed at having many players back relatively late, but it's the same for everyone, so he'll get on with it because he's a grown man.

Jose was the one who gave Chelsea players a longer break, iirc. They just ended up taking the piss by coming back out of shape.

I can't believe this hasn't been concluded yet. If it's all done and dusted as all the different media outlets report, surely it would have been announced. At least Juve would ASAP.

And no, I don't believe it's because we're not going to announce it "because it would steal the limelight from Rooney's testimonial" and different sponsor related reasons.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, IIRC because we're listed on the NYSE it can't be announced to the general public etc until after its announced there, and that can only happen during trading hours I think, so not at weekends or during the morning UK time.
