IMO nothing will happen before at least Wednesday.

I think Juve is ok with any delay as this allows them to wrap up their deals quietly. So why should they push for an announcement, thus, risking to get milked by clubs, agents and players of potential replacements.

I'm not sure what to make of this "paperwork and signing take time" argument.
I think there is nothing agreed and that negotiations are still ongoing and this paperwork argument is used by DiMarzio etc. to buy some time. So that they could position themselves as "we said it was only paperwork left so we were first to announce it as done".

I think everyone is so convinced that this is happening that he could be standing next to Zidane with his new Madrid shirt in one hand and a contract in the other, and it'd just be one of his funny japes.
