I do it every morning before even brushing my teet. Mental.

When you are reminded of the falling out with SAF, would seem odd for him to want to come back but the financial aspect might be something he values more

He likes Manchester. Basically nobody from that time is still at United. He has unfinished business here. We will pay him handsomely. I don't think it's odd at all.

In what world do people expect Napoli to agree to let Juve pay the buyout fee in installments though? They refuse to sell for anything other than the buyout fee, and suddenly they'll agree to a deal where their rival will get their best player, but one they cant afford to pay up in one bulk? Not buying that one.

In what world has any other buyout fee been paid over several years?

There is definitely something fishy about that. I read that the Napoli chairman and the one eyed wonder had a meeting in which he was made aware that nothing below the release clause will be accepted. Then I read that Juve bypassed Napoli, activated his release clause & he had medical, but somehow will pay 47m this season and 47m next season. How does that work?

Been away for a week - is this really happening?
Yes. Kind of. Everything was goin awful well till an overweight zebra escaped the city zoo. There are rumours it later mated with a polar bear. There are also rumours it has been spotted (eh) somewhere in China, after stowing away on a chartered flight. Everything is still pretty much up in the ...

Most payments work in instalments. I really doubt we would have to pay 120m in one single instalment too. Even Madrid doesn't do that.

By the tone of the answers I'm getting, I take it it's been a frustrating week

Yeah I said it yesterday, why would Napoli accept the payment in instalments. Surely it would have to be one upfront payment to activate the release clause.

Not really, wanting more money does actually mean the seem as having a bid rejected.

If we offer €120m for Pogba and Juve says no we want more money than that, then it is the same as rejected.

Thought there was a report that Juventus don't want to pay Raiola's fee? So what if Juventus have agreed to the 120m but are adamant they won't pay Raiola with that money? Could be argued that it isn't a flat out rejectment of the 120m.

I think real still want pogba, but they were hoping he'd reject united and make a fuss so they could get him at a lower price, they won't match what united are offering, so they can only rely on their old tactics, which won't work this time.

Not if they activated the release clause. Will they not have to pay the amount at Serie A's offices if they bypassed Juve and activated the clause?

Weren't the three musketeers during the Herrera comedy episode at the LaLiga offices?

Because I've yet to see anything to suggest it isn't. Too much money involved for all parties to back out now, too many people I trust saying it's going to be done (or maybe already done and the media leaks are just spin), too many ducks lining up (Higuain, #6 left free, no sign of us moving on any other players, Mino chilling out there in Miami with him (which I'm optimistically taking as a sign they're just waiting for the call to fly in and do the medical/signing), Madrid-biased Spanish press giving up), Ed and Jose being back in Manchester during the week... just too much smoke now. This train is on the tracks and we're just waiting for it to reach the station.

Everything you say makes perfect sense and is along the lines of my thinking.

I'm just too much of a transfer pessimist to relax in the knowledge it's done. Desperate for that confirmation or final sign.

Is the Paddy quote legit? Or he's just spouting bollocks as usual?
He said "They've been saying it's done and dusted for a month now..so nobody knows what's going on"

Absolutely nothing in it.
