Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Just reading on twitter that Sky Italia are saying Juve have rejected our improved offer and we have no intention of going back in with a better offer.

Think that might be it.
I've looked on their website and on their twitter and there is absolutely nothing on there at all. Plus if they had actually said it on air, there would be some kind of proof out there by now

:nervous: If that's really true, this is almost the Vidal saga all over again.

Not that anyone cares what I believe I'm sure but I am still 100% confident we will sign him. Besides I can't pull back now. If I turn out to be wrong it will at least be character-building. Kind of like fagging for the prefect at boarding school style character-building but character-building all the same.

That ''utreport'' account need to be blacklisted. They twist things so much for RT's.

£100m is 120m euros right? If they rejected that, I doubt we will go with a better offer. The amount of money involved would be beyond ridiculous if we did and I don't even care about fees and money.

They had to pay more than they wanted for Higuain and probably want more for Pogba to make up for it...

Heres one of the articles that say United have had a €120m bid rejected by Juventus.
This is pretty much what every single one is saying:

Paul Pogba is set to return to Manchester United this summer—but it seems Juventus and Man Utd have not still been able to reach an agreement as to how much the English side is to pay.

According to reliable Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzioo, Juventus have rejected a bid of €120m from Manchester United.

Manchester United is said to be offering €110m + €10m bonuses for Pogba but it is believed that the offer does match the valuation set by Juventus.

The website says “if Pogba is to be sold it will be for the right price, on Juve’s conditions and without discounts.”

Now correct me if i'm wrong, but where did it say in his article that we've had a bid rejected? It says Juventus want more, but it doesn't say anywhere that a bid has been rejected?

Whatever that was it's been deleted
It was 'utdreport' twitter handle quoting Crerand: Paddy Crerand: "I have been in the journalist room at the press conference and they're all saying the Pogba deal is 'done and dusted'."

Well one thing is for sure. If we don't end up with him, I'm never ever going to be pulled into another transfer thread until I see 'XXXX: signed, sealed and delivered'...
Same here. It would be so anticlimactic and feel like such a waste of time

It's been widely reported they don't want add ons, they want 120M up front. Not surprised they said no tbh.

Chances are he's been given information that Juventus want him to have. We don't know what went on at discussions between United and Juve. Maybe they don't want anything announced or they've deliberately said they want more money to throw people off. I don't know, but how common is it for an agreed fee to change, assuming of course we have agreed a fee with Juve

As long as it isn't signed it can always fall through

The thing is with Vidal we were close but Bayern swooped him away for under noses. The transfer fee was around 40m however and not 120m+ so I think it is highly unlikley some team will sweep Pogba away from under noses. I really think United is the only team that want and can pay so much money for him this season.
No, the Vidal saga was 2014. Bayern signed him in 2015. That would be one very slow swoop.

Also, we never bid for Vidal. Every Vidal story came from Italy and Chile, but English journos were briefed on a couple occasions that we were not bidding. Vidal and/or his agent wanted us to bid. We had legitimate concerns about his knee, as he had come back too soon from surgery you play in the World Cup, and was never 100% during the tournament (even came off in Extra time against Brazil, despite being Chile's best penalty taker).

Really? Saying they want more is saying they are rejecting the current offer.. They might accept the same offer later, but if we made a proposal and they said they want more, it means they reject our bid.

Yeah I am the same mate. There is too much rubbish flying around, I don't even think Di Marzio knows what's going on let alone the other awful journos like Kevin Palmer.

I mean in Di Marzio's artcle, it says Juve want more money, but it doesn't say we've had a bid rejected. People are adding 1+1 and getting 3
": at the moment the 110 million euros plus 10 in bonuses offered by the red devils are not enough." What does that mean for you? It means rejected for me.

It says they are still negotiating.

I don't even believe a word he says at the minute, but nothing in that article suggests the deal is off, like some are trying to spin.

WhatchutalkinboutWillis:confused: If we offered 120m and they asked for more money, that does mean that they have rejected our 120m offer. You are adding 1+1 and getting 1.5. I don't know how but I am impressed.

I would agree that article indicates 'a' bid has been rejected. Whether it's the first one or the second one (if there has even been a second one) is unclear.

What it does not say, or even suggest, is that we have pulled out.

Fair enough. I'd have said it means the deal is on the table, but they're trying to get a bit more, which we know about due to the fact they want us to pay Raiolas fee too.

So the offer hasn't been accepted or rejected if you look at it like that

Juve remind me of the Canadians in that South Park episode.
