This deal has all the signs similar to the Vidal speculation
If all of this happens, it would be Juve having a net spend of 60-70m euros, which they probably can afford (assuming that next season they won't sign many players). However, I don't think that it will be very healthy for them considering that they wage bill was already big as ratio of their revenue, and now with the signing of Higuain and Alves (and co) will be even higher. Add to that, they might need to rebuild their defense. So, I think that they will likely sell Pogba now, but there is some chance that they will make a last attempt in UCL with him, and then next season cover their financial losses by selling him and probably Dybala if needed. They really haven't
Pjaca was €23m
Pjanic was €32m
Benatia was €3m loan with €17m option to buy him at the end of the loan
Dani Alves was a free transfer
And they sold Moratta to Madrid for €30m
So they have basically net spend €28m so far
In terms of wages Alves is prob on a big one and Benatia and Pjanic will also earn a decent wage but they have lost the wage of Cuadrado and Moratta so all in all not much difference there.
I don't think Juve would spend €94m without selling Pogba but it is not true they have spend an awfull lot. In fact they are a very economical club and their books are usually in order. At the end of the summer they will probably have earned more money than they have spend.
The thing actually is, I do think it is possible but very unlikley Juve might actually be able to afford Higuain without selling Pogba. They never spend much and every season they get money from CL money and winning the serie A, so it is not unlikley they might have build up some reserve cash. If they would sell some further players like Zaza (20m), Manzukic(20m), Pereya(18m) who all still look like leaving, they might actually be able to afford it without selling Pogba. But must say I think it is unlikley because it feels very unlike Juve.
Ill be honest, if Real nip in and nick him for what Juve are asking, so be it. We're super rich but we need to set a precedent.
Precedent that we won't be fecked over just because we are loaded? If yes, then I agree.
Surely Woodward won't allow himself to look foolish yet again, being unable to land a big target. He's already the laughing stock amongst CEO's of major clubs.
I've heard whispers, yes. Anyway, I'm saying surely he won't let it happen this time.

Or FIAT pumping some extra cash in the team to cover their expenses, but that is more unlikely.
Precedent as in our limits?

WTF?He's already the laughing stock amongst CEO's of major clubs.
Jose looks worried. No worries Jose, it's a done deal.
If it was done, then it would have been done by last night, as it takes a fair few hours to fly to China from Italy/England. But didn't Di Marzio give an update this morning that a fee wasn't agreed? No worries Jose, it's a done deal.
You're hearing whispers from CEOs?

This is what I mean with my own question. As in we have our limits with how much we are willing to spend but not to the point that we're willing to be ripped off or simply have the piss taken out out of us.
Yep. We have a valuation on a player and we won't go above that. There's no doubt whatsoever that Juve want this €100m+. He's a midfielder and replaceable. In future if a club knows we will pull out and they'll miss out on that huge pay day, they'll think twice about taking the piss.

Chances are he's been given information that Juventus want him to have. We don't know what went on at discussions between United and Juve. Maybe they don't want anything announced or they've deliberately said they want more money to throw people off. I don't know, but how common is it for an agreed fee to change, assuming of course we have agreed a fee with JuveIf it was done, then it would have been done by last night, as it takes a fair few hours to fly to China from Italy/England. feck sakes we're fooked
I was at the beach today and there was a dude in the middle of the beach with a Juventus shirt on. You don't see too many Juve shirts in Denmark, but what was even stranger was the fact that he was wearing it on the beach when it's nearly 30 degrees Celsius/86 Fahrenheit. Maybe it's an omen.
Could be, if the dude is Pogba.
How so?Surely Woodward won't allow himself to look foolish yet again, being unable to land a big target. He's already the laughing stock amongst CEO's of major clubs.
