Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Is this like when Moyes "acted like we'd already signed Fabregas"? I.e. Don't bother trying to line up any alternatives and have to buy Fellaini on deadline day for way above his buy out clause.

Already erased Moyes from your memory? :wenger:

Judging by the hair, the pink Bentley, this kid has a "little" bit of an EGO !
Which leads me to beleive he is definitely the type that would love to be the worlds first £100 million footballer, with it comes his own big slice of immortality within footballing history, on this basis alone, it is why I personally think he will be coming here.

He's a leader, all leaders have ego. His leadership personalty is the main reason am up for signing him.

Can we sign up for the Amazon Prime trial so that we get him delivered tomorrow?
Given there's a no returns policy, isn't it more like ordering something expensive off eBay and hoping you don't get fecked over somewhere along the line via the seller (Bayern did us good with Basti), the postal service, or the goods themselves not being as advertised?

I suspect that much of that - with the hair coloring is from his agent but he was always capable of not to much leading, but producing something great in a game that needs it. He's not really a leader in the truest sense of the world. In the Euros he was very disciplined and that probably cost France. I think he will do what the coach asks and maybe in time teams will use him better.

If Mendes and Raiola are working on the deal, Manchester United only dot i's and cross t's without having to have made any direct contact with Juve, right?

If that's the case, there can be 'no contact' from MUFC right up to the formalities of the deal.
Yeah to my limited knowledge a formal bid only comes in very late in the process. Woody has definitely used 3rd parties in deals before e.g. Mata, so sometimes theres no direct contact between clubs at all.

Pay by PayPal, they have that buyer protection for 90 days thing. Just hope he choses bank account for source of funds, don't they charge 2% if a credit card is used. That would increase the amount by an extra few million.

Yeah, that's why this 'United have made no contact' spiel is extremely misleading.

Makes you wonder just how powerful these agents are, though... they really have their mucky, little fingers in every orifice these days. Better to have them on your side than not.

Wait, there is one negative review of this seller - by a WoyHodgson:

"I was disappointed by my purchase of Christian Poulsen for the 'Buy it Now' price of £4.5m - he turned out to be worse than the Jay Spearing model that I already had"

Can tell this has slowed down a page about PayPal hahah!

When do we set off for china? If this deal is going to be done I would assume that both United and addidas (who have a lot of sway over both the player and club) would want this done in time for the main Tour pr work, maybe even the kit launch

Wednesday, I think.

Mourinho likes "specialists"

What is Pogba's specialist position / role?

I wouldn't want any doubt about this at a world record fee.

Pogba excels at everything in the midfield.

I think his future is at number 8 or number 10 though.

He has a very creative mind and such a flair player with the ball at his feet, plus he's very hard to knock off the ball he's a midfielder that if he played at #10 would get 15+ goals a season without a doubt.

This was the season before last.

You either go box to box with him or just say #10 he can drive at players, chest the ball down turn a player instantly and has the vision, skill and guile to create something.

I assume that the two question marks are to indicate that it's blindingly obvious? Just that I've seen others asserting that he's not really capable of playing that role and is better further forward.

No sorry not at all. Didn't mean it to come across that way. Merely guess work on my part.

Second time I've seen it called that. Pretty sure it's a Rolls Royce Wraith.

It doesn't say he's staying in that article.

Your all so bloody impatient. Wait until he gets back from holiday and he will be a United player. I wouldn't read into Allegris comments at all.

To be honest, i couldn't really care less where he goes, though i reckon there's still a long way to go yet. Pogba will never get the recognition he wants whilst playing for Juve though. Serie A is no longer regarded as one of the best leagues and, whilst Juve have a better team than us right now, i reckon we'll surpass them under Jose.
