Yes that was a quality side and I also think a big reason for us eventually winning the trouble. Our young players learned so much from the earlier games against Juventus, the work rate, desire, hunting down in triangles, playing with tempo and just generally playing at a higher level than they were used to. It really served the class of 92 well.

It's sometimes easy to forget what a good window we have had already, certainly in my case anyway. Bailly, Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan all early on in the window. We definitely aren't done with those however. If there is no solid news on Pogba by next Friday, I am inclined to believe that we might start pursuing other targets more aggressively.

I love the whole transfer speculation stuff myself, but I must say that the trawling online for crumbs and then validating any 'source' thing is so pointless. There is a finite time frame by which everyone will know, and it's only next month, so trying to find out in advance is needless torture.

Some of the comments on here are pretty embarrassing really. The way some comment on here as though their life depends on us signing Pogba!
Come on we are Fecking Mnachester United, not some Pub team for god's sake!
If Pogba signs good, if he doesn't then that's not the end of the world. Manchester United won't cease to exist if we don't sign Pogba or anyone else for that matter.
If Pogba is to sign then what Pogba says or does today, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow won't change anything, neither does what X/Y/Z say. And vice versa. So there is no need to lose sleep over every little update from literally anyone and everyone and then abuse fellow Cafties who dare to share something he/she heard from someone regardless of whether it's true or not.
Having said that, I think it'll happen. Because unlike Vidal saga when most of the reports came from Chile who desperately wanted us to sign Vidal, this time it's coming from France, Italy and especially from Spain who has a vested interest in this whole transfer.
But I don't think we'll see anything happening anytime soon. That's because I've yet to hear from Mohamed Bouhafsi about this whole Pogba thing and until he says something I don't believe it's anywhere close enough to be made public.

I just can't help but feel people are getting way too emotionally invested in this. It's not the end of the world, and I don't see him coming personally. I don't want the whole website to commit mass suicide when he stays, which it has been known to do in the past
