What?Yeah. Perhaps we should delete it, start again and pretend this never happened like Bluemoon did with their Pogba thread.
I personally think that hes preparing ground for when Pogba makes the transfer. Gotta appease the Juventus fans. Their whole narrative this transfer has been that Juve is selling only because we are throwing ridiculous money at him but they would prefer to keep him. His comments follow that narrative nicely. What's the consensus regarding Raiola's comments? Do we think he'll actually stay at Juventus or it's just a tool (similar to when we were linked with Zlatan) to get us to cough up more for him?
Things have improved considerably since I learnt about the ignore function a few days ago. Can still see all the replies though unfortunately. This thread has turned to shit. I blame @GlastonSpur
The examples I was thinking of from last season were the Schmidfielders. I dont recall any actual "evidence" either of them were coming before they came? It was just like the Pogba saga, I think? A lot of smoke, leaving you wondering whether there was a fire or someone had just burnt a piece of toast?
I cite those as most of the others seemed to happen pretty quickly, but those two dragged on a bit as a recall...
are you seriously telling me Adele is more popular with the youth of America?
That was my premise. That the youth culture has shifted towards the hip-hop scene. How many rock-n-roll bands are popping? The biggest artist are mostly int he hip-hop version of Pop: Beyonce, Rihanna, Drake.
and for all those wondering why this is an issue. It's not. I was making the argument that Pogba is a marketing asset to any team, since he embracing current pop-culture. He participates in the viral world, which relies heavily on hip-hop for references.
What other footballer has this much swag? Dude oozes cool.

no, we are talking about spending a 120-150 million euros. We're talking about football mate.

I feel far more comfortable knowing we are getting a player that is going to be a financial asset off the pitch to help recoup some of that money. We don't have an endless reservoir of cash, despite what some believe. We're rich, but we're not corrupt government funding rich.

I resent being told that I'm 'living in the 90s' and that I'm out of touch; I happen to know a lot about Sir Francis Drake.
Be careful while believing the above ITK claims posted on that Juventuz forum, they are taking the piss by making up above stories because they know caf users read their thread. Most of the things mentioned above are them making up the lies to troll us.The general consensus among the sensible posters who can rise above childish insults on Juve board seems to be, Pogba to Utd is a done deal. Their most reliable ITK who according to many has a near perfect track record said it's done and Juve is now trying to do other businesses before it being made public.
The other posters are also citing different sources who claimed it's a done deal. Apparently Pogba has expressed his desire to come back to United, and he and Jose have been texting each other for quite some time now. Someone whose cousin works at Adidas store said his cousin told him they stopped selling Pogba's shirt.
I dunno, according to this thread some fans would prefer us to do B tooI think the best way to decide if it's a good signing or not is to think of what our rival fans would rather see us do.
a. Sign Pogba for £110m or
b. Don't sign him and save the money.
I'm pretty sure they would all prefer us to do option b, so we should do option a.
