He's just a French ' Look at me ' version of Kerry Catona or Katie Price without the knockers.

I want players who will crawl over broken glass in the road to play for us, not those who just want to use us for their own benefit.

Is Ronaldo a mercenary? Is Messi a mercenary?

Well, if Pogba comes to us, I'm sure he wanted to come. If he doesn't come, he could have still wanted to come to us but the deal never worked out...just like out first attempts for Herrera.

If your after a simple YES or NO...you are very detached from the world of football business and are hoping for the impossible.

Kagawa and Mkhitaryan VS Gotze, Hummels, Lewandowski so Munich beat us 2-3 :( I read your response but it seems they don't have a problem going to Munich given the chance....

Back to Pogba please. Can't wait for us to sign him!
 
This thread is fecking insane! I don't get it.

Instead of being happy or satisfied that we buy three world class players half of the posters complains about everything or nothing. Nest season we have Mourinho, Zlatan, Mhiki and hopefully Pogba, three of the best gems available in this transfer window and still some of you find negatives to moan about. Crazy.

Tell me what other better players are available?

You seems to have no idea how fortune we are to support on of the richest club in the world. We can buy players other clubs can't even dream of. In this window we probably buy four starters. Tell me when that happened last time.

Homegrown is ultimate but when that's not possible then this is the best case scenario regarding possible future success. FFS calm down, relax and enjoy. Our starting eleven will be awesome and I will love every minute with Mourinho in charge.
 
We've already spent a big sum on Fellaini, Herrera, Schneiderlin and Mata combined for creativity, engine, dribbling or/and goals from midfield without successfully improving the team.
Is Pogba hugely overpriced? Definitely.
Is he the kind of player we desperately need? Yes.
Do we need another CM along with Pogba? Sure.
Is there any close alternative to Pogba? Not sure.
Will he improve the team? Without doubt.

Hopefully this will be Schneiderlin. Think we can all agree that, part of a coaches/managers job is to improve/get the best out of the existing players.

You're obviously not living in 2016 then. What about all the times in the 90's and early 2000's where we repeatedly broke the British transfer record. Where these players we signed mercineries?

What about Rio, easily someone who would walk over so called broken glass for the club. But he was the highest paid defender around when he signed for us and the most expensive.

we have been saying it though. it's a running joke but it's real, if Watford can afford to say no to 30 million for Troy Deeney. Pogba @ 100 is almost more than worth it. People say neymar alone is worth that... nope, he's Probably worth 2 times that. Look at how we have been marketing Rooney for God's sake, imagine what we could do with Pogba and Zlatan. Eds already counting the money
