He didn't have a bad game. The penalty though takes a lot of the attention.
But he must be played in a 3, with no defensive responsibility, on the left side, surrounded by world class players. Or something. Not only according to this place... he is a unique midfielder and we are really lucky to have him.
Really and truly that is down to the manager to make that decision.
Only 15% completion of all forward passes (3 out of 20 attempted) is disappointing.
Took on the responsibility and missed. It happens. Poor lad looked gutted.
Look at the clips from last week. Watch Rashford's post match interview from last week.Happens quite a lot though unfortunately, and looking gutted doesn’t make it any better especially when it looks like he took the penalty against the planned penalty taker no matter what they are saying now in the press interviews it was obvious Rashford expected to take it.

He isn't a leader, he's so good he can force something, sometimes. But he fails to be the player we need. We only look to him because we don't have anything else. But if he played like this in any of the top 5 teams right now he would be called out.
Tell me if you’ve got a point, I know what I saw tonight.
There is no set penalty taker.Tell me if you’ve got a point, I know what I saw tonight.
That's obviously not right. It might be 20 attempted passes in final third.
He made 52 forward passes in the game.
That's a big difference considering the final third is much more difficult to complete a pass due to how many players are there and having to try riskier passes to get the goal.Sorry yes just checked 20 passes in final third and 3 completed, 52 in total and 34 completed 65% still not great (will edit original post)

Spot on. All too often his 1/10 performance gets called world class because of one moment of brilliance. It’s just not good enough. He isn't a leader, he's so good he can force something, sometimes. But he fails to be the player we need. We only look to him because we don't have anything else. But if he played like this in any of the top 5 teams right now he would be called out.
He needs someone like Carrick behind him.He isn't a leader, he's so good he can force something, sometimes. But he fails to be the player we need. We only look to him because we don't have anything else. But if he played like this in any of the top 5 teams right now he would be called out.
He is not the leader, or midfield general we need. This is the type of game those players take over and run the game. It’s wolves away. Not many teams are taking 3 points off them this season, it’s a bloody tough game. He did fine, we should and could have won.
So your theory that Pogba just took it from Rashford isn't consistent.
That quote from Rashford is after the Chelsea game last weekI think those post match comments are a case of trying to take some flack off mr pogba, nothing wrong with that and bodes well for the team spirit.
If pogba steps up next to take a penalty I’ll be amazed, disappointed and looking for counselling.

Still piss poor though wouldn’t you agree? That's a big difference considering the final third is much more difficult to complete a pass due to how many players are there and having to try riskier passes to get the goal.
65% in all areas of the pitch is fecking shocking. Those are Nani on a bad day stats. Absolutely diabolical for a CM. Surely they’re not accurate?!?
They're talking about forward passes, not all passes. His total pass completion was 84%.
Really good game tonight, kept us ticking over really well. Great give and go with Martial for the penalty.
I thought the Keeper made a good save.
He didn't have a bad game. The penalty though takes a lot of the attention.
It's the overall record with penalties that bothers me more to be honest and deserves a focus of attention.
Ah. That makes more sense. I thought he was decent today so couldn’t make sense of the stats. Better than against Chelsea anyway.
He needs to play higher up the pitch as evidenced by the penatly win. When he plays so far back, he gives the ball away far too much for a player in that posistion.
Play him in place of Lingard and have Fred do all the running.
He must be played in the position where jaylingz played this game imo. Didn’t he play there when Ole took over last season and had his unbeaten run?
