Honestly if any club come in with £100m next summer we should snap their hands off providing it is reinvested wisely. He's just honestly not that good. Loses possesion cheaply, and things rarely come off for him. One good assist every 3 games does not make a world class player.

He rarely lost possession today, despite being the most marked/pressed player just in front of our defence.
The only time he ventured forward into their half, he linked up beautifully and won that penalty in the first place.
He had 2 assists in the last game itself.
He topped our goals and assists charts last season, despite being in one of the worst squads in recent United history.

But sure, lets sell him for 100m in today's market, with him still having 2 years of his contract left. I'm sure the top players in the world would love to play in a midfield containing Pereira, Lingard and McTominay.

Looked good at times but also looked bad at times. There was one moment where he lost the ball under his feet and fell over and then some silly misplaced and slow passes that didn't reach there man. For me though i was so angry when he took that penalty. I didn't feel confident the second he put it down and then to miss such a great chance i was fuming. Rashford always looks far more clinical. I feel like he put himself before the team in that moment and its cost us.

Dont mind the penalty thing. It happens. Had a good game individually and showed the brilliant piece of play for the pen.
Personally I think it happens to him too often. But that’s not really a criticism of him, more a (very obvious) acknowledgement that penalties should be given to the most consistent taker. He’s missed quite a few now. Much like when Rooney was missing them relatively regularly.

Oh dear, I’d love to know the average age of posters on his forum :D

I don't know the average poster age, but average Pogba fanboy age is around 12 probably. Embarassing stuff from his fans.

I want to see him in the 10 role, I wish we had Herrera here still, McTominay and Herrera in the mid with Pogba as the 10. As it happens we bought nobody so don't really have anyone else good enough to play in the middle.

Nonsense. Herrera and Scott wouldn’t be able to get out! You need pogba or someone like that to pick passes and move the ball.

Sure he gave the ball away, but he creates things. I prefer him deeper defo- only get better at it.

Pen was shit though!

To some extent I agree, but the reason i'd like to see him in 10 is because I believe he's our most creative player by far, if he was at 10 I think he'd be sliding in our attack much much more than say Lingard.

Wtf how can anyone lay the blame at Pogba's door for today? He was one of the best players on the pitch and was unlucky that an otherwise good PK was saved by Patricio.

This misguided statement right here kinda proves that a large number of United fans seem to hate Pogba because he represents a different, modern generation of footballers. Does his haircut piss you off Steven?

He's just so lazy at times. Can't remember which minute but gives a bad pass and starts waving his arms and walking back in stead of trying to win it back. He's our best player and he knows it, he knows he won't be dropped but this isn't someone who will be seen as the team leader. He was great at Juve because he had two experienced leaders behind him, freeing him of responsibility, both mentally as well as in some aspects playing wise, as he clearly can't handle that.

It was a crap penalty at the right height that any keeper saves if they go the right way, the guy has now missed 36% of his penalties for us.

He should never be allowed to take one for us again - full stop.

That I do agree with. Lingard contributes absolutely feck all!

Light in the middle really arnt we. Get someone to play deep and push pogba forward or get a proper 10!

You’re pathetic

Cause he missed the best chance we had at a goal second half I guess
Would this have been the case if it was anyone else? It's not as if it was an awful pen, he hit it with power and it was on target. The keeper guessed right and got a hand to it. It's fine margins. Rashford's last week was almost an exact carbon copy but Kepa just missed it.

It's hardly something to lay in to him for, ffs.

2nd half he disappeared and didn't move the ball when we needed him.

Made far less mistakes today. Still wasn't effective enough given he is our highest paid outfield player by a mile, but at least he wants the ball and will keep trying things. Think he will keep his head a bit better once the chance of a move goes away with the window. Definite improvement today though.

Another strong, disciplined performance from Pogba today. Good coverage, passing, defence. Did get a bit lost when Wolves pressed higher and upped the tempo. However, when United needed him he stepped forward and won the penalty with a great piece of play. He now needs to be big enough to say "Rashford should take the penalties".

You’re pathetic

Great post, I give you stats and you come with pathetic. Which part of worst height you can hit a penalty and has missed 36% of penalties for us do you disagree with?

Come back with a childish response?

Only 15% completion of all forward passes (3 out of 20 attempted) is disappointing.

Good? Do me a favour it was no where near the corner and a a good hight for the keeper.
There should be one penalty taker, a designated penalty taker, it’s bloody amateur stuff from Utd at times, “oh go on Paul you take this one”.

Was sloppy at times, but he simplified his game tonight. I also think he worked very hard off the ball. Unlucky with his pen. Wasn't the worse penalty in the world, just a decent save by Patricio.

I’ve seen your non stop agenda multiple times you can’t wait to get the knife out.

One of our best players tonight.

He needs to stay away from penalties.

Better ball possession this game. His forward passing tonight was a bit off.

Unfortunate that he missed the pen...

It’s wolves away. Not many teams are taking 3 points off them this season, it’s a bloody tough game. He did fine, we should and could have won.

I don’t like the guy, do I want him to be successful with us? Yes.

Still what was wrong the post about terrible height to hit a penalty and misses nearly as many times as he scores from the spot.

I'll agree with that and I really like thie player. Let the best man take them if he is present and then the 2nd best and so on so forth

He isn't a leader, he's so good he can force something, sometimes. But he fails to be the player we need. We only look to him because we don't have anything else. But if he played like this in any of the top 5 teams right now he would be called out.

Patricio is a monster at saving penalties. He did it for fun in Sporting. The bastard...

Took on the responsibility and missed. It happens. Poor lad looked gutted.

Saying he should NEVER take one full stop. That’s just over the top rubbish. Perhaps it’s the way you say it.

Don't think their penalties were anything alike other than the side of the goal they were aimed at, really.

Really and truly that is down to the manager to make that decision.
