Why what’s going on?
I'll always give my best to the fans and my teammates no matter what's going on.
Haha I knew as soon as I scrolled past that on Twitter it would get people doing on here worried
Nothing is certain but if he wanted to force his way out, he could have easily done that by switching off. He and Jose probably have a ways to go but undeniable that today was a step in the right direction.
And if was really that serious does anyone think he would have tagged it with #pogfeelings? If he asked to leave he wouldn't have played today let alone given the arm band anyway.

Yeh. That was a captain performance. And no need pre-season BS to be ready.I thought he was very good tonight. Exactly what I hoped would happen after the WC. Disciplined and hard-working, rather than indulgent and wasteful.

Doesn’t he just mean he’ll do his best even when he’s thrown into the first game with zero pre-season and ends up dead on his feet?
on starting with a win
"We should start the Premier League with a win and we did it today. We knew it was going to be difficult because I personally didn't have any pre-season matches. I came back on Monday so it was difficult on my legs, the stamina but we played very well. The performance of the team was okay but we just want to go up and that's it."
on designated penalty taker
"We don't have a taker. The manager has names but it depends on how we feel. I decided to take it but maybe the next game I can leave it to Alexis - it is not a problem. The win is the most important thing."
on the run-up to the penalty
"It is my style of taking penalties. I've always done it. I know it is long. I know it can disturb the goalkeeper but that is how I take it. The most important thing is the ball goes in because if you miss it then I know what I'll hear."
on playing with Fred
"We started okay. I wouldn't say it was the best game but obviously it is normal. We've just started to play together. We started to train together. He's a very good player, I know he will really help us and with Andreas too - very young and showed his ability today. To be honest I feel very comfortable with him and with the rest of the centre mids I think we will be very happy with Fred this season."
on what he's hoping to achieve with United this season
"I'm someone who likes challenges. I want to improve. I want to progress. You have to keep working to get better and better because I'm still quite young - 25 - and I want to improve, I want to learn again and I want to win more trophies. The World Cup is a great cup, it'll stay in my mind but I want to win other trophies - Premier League, Champions League, European Championships we can win hopefully."
My guess is same as Pogue's. I'm not worried at all.Your take on the tweet @Damien ?
