Its all a bit strange when talking about big games and Pogba. He got into the UCL team of the season as a young player, has been our major shining light in big games multiple times (Arsenal games, Chelsea games, the derby comeback).
But, he's not perfect, he's had a few stinkers in the CL and against Liverpool. But Liverpool has an edge to it and the CL has regularly shown how lacking in quality our team is. I can understand where some are coming from, Pogba is approaching god levels on here, when it's been obvious that he can't actually run games staying in midfield, he needs to be allowed to attack the box. Herrera and Matic have been running the midfield with Pogba helping out as a third wheel.
In my opinion, Pogba is showing himself to be a current generation Lampard. He can do the yards defending, but that's not really his game and his goalscoring ability is freakish moving up the pitch. He's a mix between a midfielder and a forward.
