Okay I am done here. This is why I hate this thread, his fans are literally blind on other players, you see just him. Actually, you see just good things that he does on the pitch. Though, to be fair I have no idea how can you see anything special from him tonight.
He was tosh against spurs too majority of the game in second half.

Scholes played alongside great players. Pogba plays alongside Herrera and Matic,decent players but clearly not on a playing level to Keane,Beckham,Giggs or Carrick.
Put Pogba in a class midfield,like City,and you'll see a great player perform in matches like this.
Pogba has been in immense form laterly,as have Herrera and Matic,and yet one game and *BOOM* the knives are out.
Almost as if some couldn’t wait until he had an off night.
He played okay and broke lines a few times. Not his best but he ended up with Mata and Sanchez on the lines and nothing in behind. Difficult when you don’t have an out ball and are being man marked. Happened to players like Hazard and Salah, but it’s Pogba.

However, being real, it isn't that hard to nullify Pogba when your team is generally better all over the pitch. They did a good job on him and the rest of our team couldn't do enough once that was happening, which isn't really Pogba's fault.

I'm far from a huge Pogba defender, but I thought tonight just summed up how reliant we are on him. PSG just sat numbers on him and crowded him out and nobody else was good enough to step up and provide a spark for us.

Scholes was, at times, the player who gained us control in the big games. Pogba hasn't done that for us against a top team.
Look at Scholes against Madrid in 03. An absolute masterclass.

Pogba is the only one who offered any sort of threat or creativity tonight, he was jobbed by duo of Marquinhos and Alves and when rest of the team are still playing the ball to him when he’s being marked by multiple players it’s hard to perform.

Matic was decent but Herrera was poor, he had a lot of space and did nothing to take advantage of it.

Pogba had a very rough 1v1 defense on him CONSTANTLY. He needed movement around him to be able to do something, but it never came. Matic was terrible, Herrera just not there, the attackers pretty lame... Everyone was bad tonight, you cant expect Pogba to bail you out on his own. Nobody can.
Got no help in midfield at least in the offensive sense - Martial was a non-entity for the first half and Alexis plays with lead shoes. Lingard was poor, Matic/Herrera offered little.

I don’t think you should look too much into his performance. I thought we just couldn’t get enough of ball after the injuries of Martial and Lingard, we severely lack the quality from bench. Pogba was struggling with our more passive playing. And while he got growingly frustrated as the game went on, that red was very harsh considering Kimpembe stayed on.
That's not what I'm doing though. Also, fans will always defend the top players when they have an average game.
I thought midfield was the only place where we had a foothold which was in the first half. I thought we were constantly let down by our forwards this game.
