It was Ashley Young. He was hitting balls towards them from distance throughout Pogba’s interview.

Great article, particularly agreed with this part:

There’s a perspective that seems to view any extroverted behaviour and cockiness shown by these black boys as problematic, which is a perspective that isn’t really projected onto their white counterparts. If you’re black, humble and quiet, you’re a great lad, like N’Golo Kante. If you’re black, loud, confident and make any decisions people don’t agree with, you’re painted as a villain. Not just in that moment either, but forever.

People always get annoyed when it's suggested players should bulk up but look at Pogba. He was pretty skinny in his youth and bulking up has helped him so much.

It's nice to see people finally shutting up about him being arrogant, or a diva, or unprofessional. I've pretty much spent almost all of my posts on this thread trying to discredit those accusations, but some people have a bias and agenda from the get-go instead of appreciating the fact that they have one of the best midfielders in the world who's actually a model professional and a locker room glue guy, not a cancer. I think it was always fair to criticize some of his performances, but when it became about his character that's when it became nonsense and full of bias.

Do you have some unique insight to defend his characte or make any of those claims? All guesswork so at best it's giving him the benefit of the doubt

Saying that i'm pretty confident he'll kick up a fuss and want to leave in the summer. His agent wasn't causing a fuss just over Jose so we'll see how he reacts when we say no.

I don't need to have a unique insight, you simply have to look at his history. It's really not hard to identify someone who can be a problem in the locker room or not, especially when they have gone through some intense locker rooms like Juventus, or the France national team under Deschamps. I've also got to see him on a personal level and how he behaves when the cameras aren't around and no one will report his good or bad behavior and he acted like a great guy.

Now, let me flip the question on you, why are you 'pretty confident' he'll kick up a fuss and want to leave in the summer when all reports claim he's happy in Manchester?

It feels to me like you have an inclination to be negative towards Pogba, and I wonder why that is. He's your best player and best hope to build this team back into a contender. I would really reconsider your opinion of the man, because you clearly are just making a guess, I have at least a bit more evidence on my side of the argument and a history of character to back me up whether it's reports or accounts from other model professionals/coaches who wouldn't tolerate the Pogba you're hinting at.

Tottenham 0:1 Man Utd
Can be even better if he has someone alongside him who can dictate our game, which for all their effort Matic and Herrera neither can do against opposition like tonight.

Great assist for the goal but could have been sent off easily second half. Overall good first half, poor second one like the rest of our midfielders. The assist worth it though, that pass was just .

Top performance for 75 mins. Ran his bollocks off. After 75, was clearly out of juice.

The best midfielder in the team, but ran out of steam in the second half.

Great pass, but besides that particular move, he had terrible game.

What the actual feck? The only one to create anything for us all game. Only slight criticism is he did lose it once or twice, but it happens when you're actually trying to create something.

Disappointed . He will never control a game like a proper midfielder. The whole midfield was open for someone to take charge when they put Eriksen there.

Having said that, he is brilliant as a Zidane type of player. Skills, finishing , passing - all in one box.

I want to marry that pass, have little baby children passes, that grow up to be disappointing passes in comparison to their parent pass

They f'd with the wrong baller

Souness trying to vindicate his criticism of Pogba after a game like this.
Have a day off.

The interview on Sky then with redknapp was fascinating.. he basically said that under Jose there was to much responsibility on him regarding defensive duties however it wasn't just him that had that.

Solksjaer has given him license to attack and he looks at Lamapard as a role model for how he wants to play.

Souness is awful. Absolute idiot.

It wasn’t a red card. Shouldn’t have been a yellow.
