Oh feck off here we go again with this shit. I bet in the next 4 games everyone will be fawning over him saying he's the best midfielder in the world then once he has one bad game everyone will latch onto him.

We don't deserve him if the majority of our fans think he's a fraud or even worse want him sold.

Playing well against mid table fodder is not worth fawning over. We are Manchester United for God's sake. But that's all #PogbaFanBoi's seem to do and then refuse to hold him to standards when he is rubbish against another top 6 team.

Today was our cup final: we all knew it and it needed our best talented players to show up. Pogba was not only intimidated by the occasion, his mistakes impacted massively on rest of the team: he kept giving the ball away, was positionally all over the place, couldn't finish chances and then gave away a bloody penalty.

It wasn't just a bad performance: it cost us a win in our cup final. I was dumbfounded by his idiocy and think this also what happened with the rest of the team. Mourinho bottled it by not subbing him at half time.

mhkitariyan was dropped for 2 months for a similarly disastrous performance against City. I don't think the same should happen to Pogba but I'm not going to walk on eggshells because he has a hashtag.

He needs to quit all the social media #dabbing and start delivering what we pay him to do. Once he's won us a few medals I'll gladly share his tweets but for now a MoM against a team that matters would be nice.

The whole Twitter emoji thing could've been planned by his team as early as last summer for all we know, and the haircut/style only takes about an hour or so? He had a bad game but let that man live.

You said all those players have proven themselves in big games. Pogba is 23, I guess he still has time to prove himself or he's a little elephant in the room and a dud and we should sell him or we shouldn't have bought him.

It's really lame for you to come up with that elephant stuff after one bad game. But people are like that I guess..
Its more than one game my friend. There is a worrying trend. Yes he may only sbe 23 but the point still stands. He is taking on the personna of being one of our main men so I'll judge him accordingly

He looked hopelessly lost today. That 19 year old Everton kid Lookman looked more comfortable.

I want him to succeed but I'm not convinced he will. There are glaring gaps in his game that should have been resolved by now.

Who knows what would've happened if Mourinho subbed him off, hell we might have lost the game.

I remember him putting In a very good performance against Tottenham where he held his own against Demebele and Wanyama. So don't chat shit.

Tottenham was a big game if I'm not mistaken. And it was against the best midfield in the league. He did well there. Why does no one give him credit then?

Have you? I'm not being smart here, can you honestly name a big game that he has shone in? A really big game. I hope he does soon, it will quieten my fears.
So you in fact did watch his games at Juve and against Inter, Milan, Roma?

Yeah people have forgotten about the Spurs game, he did play fantastically well there. I do get the apprehension though, there have been two games where there has been a lot of hype City and Liverpool and he has played disastrously in both.

He was not MoM vs spurs. We'd have won without him

Not to mention he almost always scored a worldlie against Napoli, or how his bad games in the CL with Juve always coincide with the whole team getting played off the park

People saying he hasn't had any good performances in big games probably thinks Griezzman's a choker too for losing the CL and Euros in the same year

What trend is that exactly?

I like him, and I hope he is going to be a big part of what Mourinho is building at OT, but today's display was horrendous. Should have been subbed off at HT.

It's been suggested the twitter stuff this week was coordinated to happen in anticipation of this big game today. Is that true?

Terrible today and he cost us any chance of a win with that crazy handball.
Hes been good recently against poor teams but its days like today when we need him to step up.

I remember a certain C Ronaldo struggling against Barca in his first season in Madrid.... The then best and most expensive player in the world and three times leading goal scorer for Manchester United...

Funnily enough players aren't immune to pressure and its even more difficult for midfielders who are constantly surrounded by swarms of opposition players at any chance. He's got a home game against Liverpool out of the way so he can move on.

Regardless of what people say this is still his first season in the EPL. Seldom few light it up and dominate from the get go.

My grip with him is that sometimes he wants to do too much by himself. He has the means of making a great dribble, pass or a shot but sometimes you just need to make it simple. In the games where he made it simple he was great but today he wanted to do it all by himself and it was awful. He dwelled on the ball too much thus being overcrowded by Liverpool players and was trying too complicated things. If I remember he lost the ball prior to the corner from which we conceded?
Not to mentio the penalty.

Its weird to see him play so poorly because the game was about tight spaces and Pogba/Mata/Mkhitaryan etc thrive in those kind of situations by playing their way past pressure. I wasn't really surprised by Martial not doing well because of the lack of space and Rooney being a shit house under pressure was a given but Pogba and Mkhi missing easy chances was most disappointing. If we score on either of those all the nervousness would have been on Liverpool.

So he played very badly against all the big teams this season?
He hasn't player exceptionally well or been stand out MoM in many to my memory.

Half decent vs spurs but mhki stole the show that day. Can't remember much else

Arsenal.

Look, you said there's a trend of him playing very badly. Then you changed it to hasnt played exceptionally well or stand out.

So is there some kind of trend or it isnt.

Also so what if Mickhi stole the show against Spurs. Pogba was good or he wasn't good in that game?

Average vs arsenal, OK vs spurs. Nothing that Herrera or Rojo also did.

That's his top level right now. For a £90m player hmm

You're being ridiculously biased. He was very good against Spurs.
I don't think so pogue. I just checked online: independent and telegraph ratings were in line with mine. 7/10. You're getting carried away with his free kick... which missed

I don't think ratings are always reliable but they prove I'm not being driven by agenda

If only we had reason to.....Can't see it myself, but we can hope....

Sorry had to laugh at this. So you're basing your opinion on ratings. Not on.. Well on how you remember the game...

Agenda if I ever saw one.

Pogba needs consistency but he is more a celebrity than a footballer today. He is basically full of sh*t, as you say.

You said he played "very badly". How the hell is a 7/10 rating playing "very badly"?

How can such a ridiculously talented footballer look so shit against the bigger teams? Far too early to call him a luxury player, but he needs to get his act together soon in these games or he simply shouldn't be taking part in them. You can't afford to carry passengers against the likes of Liverpool.

No it's how I remember the game, also agreed upon by many national newspapers whose reporters are paid to report on such.

Sorry that disagrees with you

7/10 isn't very good?

In any case it isn't very badly. And certainly not very badly against all big sides in high profile games..

You're changing your claim as we get along I see.

Worst performance from him ever. This trumped the Everton bad performance. Seem like caught the Rooney syndrome vs Scouse side. All over the place. Extremely disappointed with him today.

I've said there is evidence he plays very badly against big teams in high profile matches (eg city and Liverpool) and even the games which people claim he was 'ridiculously good', in reality he was 7/10 and another player was the standout MoM.

He has played very well against mid table teama so far.

I expect much much more from a £90m world record signing.
