Awful, simply awful just an absolute passenger all game

He had a bad game but he's a quality player so he will come back stronger

If I could give him zero in the match ratings I would. Worst player on the pitch by a mile. He cost us that game and it's as simple as that. Has he ever had a good game against one of the top sides? Completely useless against top teams who press.

He's an incredibly arrogant player, which can work in his favor. But he was completely caught out today and was trying to do too much.

Frustrating, but he'll learn from it.

Some of the people in this thread need to have a word with themselves.

Poorest performance I've seen from a United player since Rooney vs Swansea. Hopefully he learns from this.

Silly mistake and poor in general but live and learn. He's been fantastic no need to crucify him.

Worst I've seen him play for us. That said, every guy can have an off day.

What's absolutely fecking ridiculous is contributing absolutely nothing defensively all game. Absolute liability jogging around as if he'd just led us to a 3 nil lead.

Needs to get his act together, you need to do more when you're off colour. Not jog around like a petulant child.

A player of his supposed class can't have a bottom level like that. It was a horror show: if that was Henderson we'd be pissing ourselves..

Its all good being a flat track bully but a when a player of his profile and supposed stature basically bottles it because the fixture is too big for him, hmm, makes me worry a great deal

Disgraceful performance and stupid handball. I have never seen a player so invisible like a goal keeper despite playing in the midfield.

He will learn from this.

He has been doing it all season when it comes to playing the top teams who press and he hasn't learnt anything so far. He should honestly be dropped for the big games and only used against minnows.

Worst performance for us, but it happens. Should up his game against the better teams

He needs to get his head out his arse and fast, he needs to see that he plays an incredibly important part of a team that is playing catch up.

You can not get caught on the ball in your own half as much as he did today, you need to pass quick, I've said this
before he seems to invite pressure which against some teams is fine but Liverpool press all ready! If you delay you end up with 2/3 players on you.

The only reason he stayed on the pitch is because there is absolutely no one else to bring on.

He cost us the game today, hard to pin on one player but his mistakes took all the wind out our game and boosted liverpool

Spend more time focusing and performing in the biggest game of the season and less time promoting a haircut, you clown.

Still though, he's a got a yellow streak in his hair and an emoji.

£90 million well spent.

Can he pass the ball without taking a dozen touches beforehand?

Hope Rooney replaces him at half time. Far more mature head who can cope with pressure.

0/10 performance. Unfortunately, we're only allowed to give a minimum of 1/10.

2.9 in the match ratings.

People are very generous.

It's a good thing you're not overreacting.

Every time he has one of those incredibly shite haircuts he plays horrendous. He was amazing when he just had normal black hair.

Terrible today. Someone mentioned about dire performances after these new hair styles.

Was horrific, even worse than Mikhi against City.

Hopefully he learns from this.

He is very much a work in progress. World away from a Coutinho at the moment, but we shouldn't murder him over one game. His sheer size, makes it difficult for him to deal with games in which there isn't that space to dribble into.. he needs to work on his game and learn how to move the ball around effectively in these type of games. Defensively his game needs to improve too.

Had a mare. It happens, some of the reactions on here are pathetic beyond belief.
This was one of the worst performances I've seen from a United player for years in the biggest game of the season. The reactions are well deserved.

Pogba seems to want to prove something everytime he touches the ball.

Where some players will just give and go, he'll take a touch, drop the shoulder and try and beat a man all the time.

It gets worse in big games. It's like he feels he needs to do a shimmy against top teams to justify his fee.

He'd be so much more effective if he just kept it simple more.

I hear players can have the odd bad game in 10(?) and not need to suffer confirmation bias or overhaul the entire reason we bought him.

I think we have a real problem with Pogba that the coaches need to fix. He's easily affected mentally. The more frustrated he gets, the more he tries all these difficult things, and the worse he becomes. Needs to know when to do the easy stuff.

He's like the centre midfield version of Nani.

If he'd scored that chance he had, I'd bet we'd have seen him at his very best. That's how he is wired mentally.

Jose's reluctance to sub him bothers me, and that is his worst performance in his life I think, he even misplaced simple short passes

Don't know what happened, probably the pressure's getting to him

He has been doing it all season when it comes to playing the top teams who press and he hasn't learnt anything so far. He should honestly be dropped for the big games and only used against minnows.
The whole team was dire today. Yes Pogba was very poor but singling him out as much is inaccurate IMO. I guess it's partly because he was having a mare against Lovren on setpieces and conceded a stupid penalty.

His worst performance. Completely lost his head & the tendency to take extra touches & do something fancy almost cost us.

I'm sure Jose will have a word & he'll be better.

The loudest one in the room is the weakest one in the room.

No-one covered themselves in glory today, but he was by far and away the worst player in a red shirt. Cost us the goal (although Jones has to look at himself for the corner that it came from) and gave the ball away at every opportunity.

I've not seen one performance from him against one of the big clubs that makes me think "what a player".

Stop dicking around and realise you've 10 other team mates around you to help you.

Still looking for his place, much better 2nd half in front of the back four. Clearly needs a strong type of player next to him
