Right. Because one poor half proves everything and also because none of those players have ever played poorly.
Just needs a calming word at half time, that's all. They're basically man marking him and Carrick and keeping them both out of the game.
We badly need him to collect his thoughts and use the break to his advantage. He had a very poor half but he can turn it around in the second and become the hero, hopefully score a goal and everyone will forget the first half.
Herrera has been fine. Can hardly do everything when Carrick and Pogba have been dire.

are you even watching the game lol, Herrera created three golden chances, Pogba set up a dangerous counter for Liverpool, missed his golden chance and conceded penalty... can't ask more from herrera, Carrick is a bit slow in this game but we know he usually struggle in fast paced games..
This is why it always surprises me when Carrick is rated so highly. He's always been a liability in games where we are struggling for time and space.

Pogba hasn't completed a good pass, he's letting lovren have a free run at every set piece, missed a sitter, gave them a penalty, made a stupid foul and constantly gets caught in possession and we have his name going round the bill boards. Get him off if he doesn't improve in the first 10 mins of the second half.
He needs to calm down. I think he pumped himself up for the game, has made a mistake and lost his head. Needs Jose to put an arm around him and tell him to trust his abilities!

i swear its a serious theory at this point. Probably has to do with the kind of mindset he has when getting them. He puts too much pressure on himself with his confidence at these times, injects celibrity into his game. His best period for us has come without a flashy hairstyle when he only cares about winning games

I love the guy but it's easy to forget that as good as he is, this is the first time he's been asked to be a leader.

May have been harsh on Herrera but he struggled to show any presence on the ball. Yes Pogba was pathetic, Carrick AWOL as usual but he himself can do better.. he's the guy we can rely on usually and by his standards, I don't think he was great.
But obviously there is a bigger picture that he does need stop worrying about his 'brand' and start concentrating on his game.
