Hope he learns from that though... that was an absolute stinker of a performance.

Every time he has one of those incredibly shite haircuts he plays horrendous. He was amazing when he just had normal black hair.

Was about to come on here and say the exact same thing. Never mind the hair and the flash, go under the radar (as much as you can as the most expensive player) and focus on the game!

He's young and there was an IMMENSE amount of pressure on him today. Twitter announcing a new emoji, the ads, the haircut, the new boots just for a Liverpool game. It happens before every game and honestly what needs to happen before one of these games is he puts his head down and works his arse off like he does when he's playing a normal game.

He just needs to learn to chill out a bit. You can see there is so much pressure on him to perform in these big games so he over complicates everything.

What we would do well to remember is that he is still a young guy with LOADS of pressure on him. Most people don't do that well in their first season anyway, let alone a world record fee midfielder.

Still doesnt understand that if you get pressed and attacked, you release the ball quicker. Thinks he can dribble 2 or 3 players all the time, keeps the ball to wrestle around with Can etc... I mean if you have a shit game, then do the basics right instead of doing the impossible and making it worse and worse. He needs to learn a lot, especially in terms of mentality and decision making.

Wish we'd tone down on all this marketing bollocks around him. It was just sad seeing #POGBA plastered around OT while he was having an absolute stinker in his flashy new haircut.

Am I supposed to be embarrassed about that or something? Multi-quote to your hearts content, dude.

He was fecking abysmal in our biggest game of the season and I'll happily vent about it.
It's reactionary nonsense. He was awful today, calling him a fraud is moronic.

I'm glad noone is overreacting.

He's not a fraud, he's not a poser, he's a relatively young, talented player who had a really shit game against a hard pressing midfield. How about we all calm down a bit.

Yep. Its refreshing to see. Was expecting the usual WUMS to be going overboard.

No point in defending him or his "potential". He was awful today. Simple as.

I think he just single-handedly robbed us of 3 pts. As many people have said before, he must learn how to do the little things right. Losing your man in the box or not having any awareness for where the ball is quite shocking.

Exactly. For such an important game he was totally unprepared. It's unbelievable. Perhaps he believes that he is already the best in the world and he just has to show up...

He's only 23, not worried about him at all. He will be a machine in a year or two. That is if he won't let the haircuts and the hashtags get into his head.

On another note, this just shows the huge difference between the Seria A and the Premier League. While Pogba used to walk the former he finds it very difficult in the latter.

I absolutely love him but that was bad. The Liverpool pressure gave him no time on the ball and he should be able to adapt and play it simple.

He already is. He's built like hell. That's what's so baffling today, watching him get bullied by their midfielders.

It is great that he is a confident player and all but sometimes he has to take it down a notch. Multiple times when he slowed down the play to try and take on multiple players.

People forget his age and the fact that he has moved from the Italian league. I doubt he has played against a team with such high press many times.

So he had a bad game, we still drew, its not the end of the world FFS. He will learn from this.

But it wasn't just that. Twice he lost the ball in midfield because he was trying to do a fancy trick.... setting them in position for a goal... and not only that, the stupid shit did not try to help the defense he just stood there complaining to the ref!!! Unbelievable!

I absolutely love Pogba, but he was dreadful today. Never recovered from the pen. Don't care about the hair, just care that he comes back better, which he will.

He was rubbish. He obviously got over excited about the game and came on with a swagger, as soon as things didn't go away he just couldn't cope.

He will learn.

As was said at the start of the season, he is class when he has time and space which he gets more of against weaker sides. When he is pressured on the ball and the game is faster paced against some of the top sides he is truly an awful player. I'd rather have Fellaini in these sorts of games.

The mistake was one thing, but the way he went to pieces was terrible. I thought he was positionally all at sea in the second half, and Liverpool could easily have got the second on a break. He's a liability in a two man midfield.
