I think it started most probably in the first half of the Palace game where Pogba made that sloppy passes. The one poster made comments it all being immature etc.

Rado just played around with that post after game had finished. Pretty immature performances by Pogba to be honest.
He's being sarcastic,"immature" is an ongoing joke about Pogba. Not sure where it started.

How many times has he hit the post now? I can count 4. Very Unlucky.

Am I the only one who thinks that those Henderson/Alli jokes are getting boring? Definitely overused.
It'll be "boring" as soon as the resident scousers and Glaston et al stop ridiculing themselves by making bonkers claims that so and so decent player is anywhere near Pogba's quality. Until then, it'll never get old.

jose have found the right way of using pogba in pairing him with herrera and carrick.

guess next summer is when jose signs a CDM as carrick's long term successor and we got a brilliant midfield trio to enjoy. expect him to regularly get into double figure of goals from now on.

Cheers!

My favourite moment was when he ran with the ball, put the ball to a vacant area and outpaced the defender (denayer maybe?). True winger style. And he is a CM

Best player we've had at the club in a very long time. Brilliant today and he has been for a good while.

A couple of those passes out to Valencia on the right were simply outstanding. The way he pings the ball can be beautiful to watch. They look like they've been overhit.
Rooney's now been demoted to the second best passer to Valencia.

With him and Mkhi, we have two of the most entertaining players in the PL. Huge improvement over the Sideway Pass United of the last two years.

He is such a unique player. He really has it all.

He has been immense this past month, and he will only get better. If he was luckier with all those (5?) shots hitting the post, he could be in double figures. Does any midfielder come close to creating this many chances per game?

If he can improve his finishing in the next year or two, whether long shot or heading, then he will become the undisputed best CM in the world.

That was fantastic to watch. The way he seemingly effortlessly outpaced him just shows what a special player we have got in Paul. Also, those diagonal passes for Valencia on the right were stunning. He's getting involved more and more in the last third of the pitch, creating chances for himself and the others around him.

Pogba - Herrera - Carrick is turning out to be a great trio.

Imo he has no weaknesses. He could improve certain aspects like defensive contribution and finishing but it's not like those are poor now.

He was fantastic, only complaint is he should finish off the chances he gets. Also he wins few headers from set pieces but lacks accuracy.

Also he was very unlucky, that's 5 or 6 times he has hit the woodwork and also created some easy chances which didn't result in goal. Should have been in double digits in both goals and assists.

Agreed, he gets in the right positions and everything but just doesnt finish them. Once he does, he'll be one of the best midfielders

He definitely has a 20 goal season or more in him but he is such an incredible footballer that he doesn't need one to be the best midfielder in the world.

Those long passes of his  Pirlo-esque

Not quite Alli or Henderson though. Personally i think it's time to cash in on Pogba and use the cash to bring in Henderson or Alli but i don't think we would have enogh dosh for those incredible and immaculate footballers. hahahahahahahaha

Those passes are a thing of absolute beauty.

It's absolutely unbelievable that Glaston actually thinks Alli is better.
Did Glaston actually say that? I was under the impression that he only said that Alli's development is quite similar as to Pogba's when Pogba was Alli's age and that Alli has a lot of potential.

That's where it started yes, he had a point initially, at the same age Pogba hadn't shown necessarily more than Alli had last season true, but still it's so obvious that Pogba is so much more talented and gifted than Alli. However the discussion went on and when we actually signed him he said and implied a few more things.

He just has some many strings to his bow.

Physically he's a monster, strong and quick and powerful in the air too.
His passing range is incredible, in particular his cross field balls. He plays them with such power and accuracy, and they are so flat it makes it almost impossible to cut them out - Scholesque.
As many have already mentioned he is turning into a real leader too, he has the tactical awareness and confidence to be future captain.
He has the capacity to add plenty more goals for us, he's hit the woodwork 5 times already this season so can probably count himself unlucky not to have a few more goals to his name. It's great to have someone who can bag a few goals from distance in the side, you cant give him or Ibra any time on the edge of the box or they'll punish you.
His close control and touch are so impressive for a man his size, he's just so comfortable in possession, he can wriggle his way out of almost any press.

When was the last time a midfielder was around who was as complete as Pogba?

I would like someone to name me a more complete footballer than Paul Pogba. I've mentioned before that the only ones who might come close are Arturo Vidal and Alaba but both lack the physical prowess that Pogba has.

Somebody told me he was shit, so I watched yesterdays game and thought he was better than ok.

He really could have scored a hatrick of goals. Has he got Manchester United's greatest midfielder of all time potential? This question i guess is more aimed at the 'oldies' that has had the privilege to have seen all United's great Midfielders of the past and present.
In terms of raw talent, yes, but he'll need incredible drive and personality to get near the others in terms of longevity and consistency. He'll need dedication to his craft to hone his ability to the level of the likes of Charlton and the younger iteration of Scholes that took shots at goal.

He has been blessed with the raw tools to be the best midfielder of his generation, and beyond that, one of the best midfielders of all-time. As long as injury doesn't get in the way, he has no reason not to be shooting for the stars of the past other players have no business even looking at.

It's a good question, but I suppose we need to wait until he is actually scoring at a comparable rate to others deemed truly complete before assessing that. He probably needs to be better defensively, too, before he's genuinely as complete as others in his talent bracket from times gone by.

You forget Zlatan. One of these day, one of the Taekwondo volleys will connect and become a worldie.

As complete...
Yaya? Yaya has it all as well, when he can be bothered. Bastian in his prime was also quite good, but wouldn't necessarily say complete.
Steven Gerrard? Not a fan of his defensive work...

No, I'll stick to Yaya.
