He is a monster physically, up and down with intensity all night, and that goes a long way in that position. A lot of work to do to refine his game but decent tools to start with.
He's not close to Valencia in terms of speed nor strength, yet, but he sure is a physical presence, which we sorely lacked. This is what some of us have been saying about having the right physical profile. His pace and power wrecked them tonight even if his final pass or technique wasn't the best. Shades of Antonio Valencia. We don't win this game without him.
Anagram of Dorgu is R U God?
I'm glad you have the qualifier yet in there. I agree but he's 20 and has time to grow into his man body. He's not close to Valencia in terms of speed nor strength, yet, but he sure is a physical presence, which we sorely lacked.
That makes it even more brave, it would have been a lot easier to do that after the third goal.I’m not sure I agree with the honesty point, if they’d scored immediately after I think it puts a different complexion on things!
Should've been overturned by VAR anyway. Even though you can obviously not trust that shitty system.I’m not sure I agree with the honesty point, if they’d scored immediately after I think it puts a different complexion on things!
Don't get me wrong, the yet is a necessity for that sentence to work. Valencia was a beast though - one of the fastest ever players we've had. I don't see Dorgu being in that bracket, but he's built like he can rival Valencia for strength. That being said, core strength is much more important than big guns. Salah is impossibly strong, for instance.I'm glad you have the qualifier yet in there. I agree but he's 20 and has time to grow into his man body.
He definitely needs to polish up his ball playing skills but just the way he plays that position is such a positive for us, taking up positions and making runs that none of the other options there come close to. If he can become more consistent once he gets himself into these positions then he could be very effective for us.I’m really disappointed with his on the ball skills so far to be fair. Passing is erratic, shooting is inaccurate and often weak… But his off the ball movement is exceptional, he was crucial for our win tonight. If he adds a bit of quality to that, he can become a very good player.
Also, fair play on that non-penalty incident.
Don't want to be negative as he had a good game, but that's the sort of gesture you make at 3-0 upI honestly love honesty in players, the fact he told the ref it wasn’t a pen put him way up in my estimation
The replay clearly showed it was not a pen. If anything, he's just saving time as VAR would have overturned the decision anyway. Wpuld love to see more of this in football, especially that VAR is here.Don't want to be negative as he had a good game, but that's the sort of gesture you make at 3-0 up
Don't think the manager would be too impressed had Sociedad made it 2-2 after that.
It’s sportsmanship and is to be commended. I’ll take that over shithousing whatever the score every day. Well done Pat!Don't want to be negative as he had a good game, but that's the sort of gesture you make at 3-0 up

They’ve more than one! Heaven looks excellent, Zirkzee is coming good, Mazraoui is a beast, deligt is improving, Ugarte has looked useful and Dorgu is a don. Great stuff so far.INEOS have got one.
