Patrick Dorgu | 2024/25 Performances

Needs to look and not play the ball blind. Yes Onana is reckless but Dorgu is not blameless there.

Horrible tackle.

Is that 3 game ban? Reckless tackle.

He was playing well and I was really liking the look of the left side of the Defense with Yoro and him. Both good on the ball, fast and aggressive.

Lost his head today but he was one of our better players still when he was on the pitch.

Bad night for him but looked bright after the mix up with Onana

He will become a good player for us I feel shame we miss him for 3 matches now

Thought he was poor overall , at fault for the goal and an absolute shocker of a tackle. Got into good positions but the less said about his crossing the better .

Feel for him. Actually played well but his own keeper made it difficult for him and I still think he's unlucky with the red. Didn't need to go in that hard but Hutchinson practically own the floor before the tackle came in.

Pretty pissed off that a new signing is now unavailable for 3 games due to a needless challenge. We were looking promising down his side.

Absolutely not at fault for the opening goal. Had full control on cover and no need for Onana to rush out to him.

Unfortunate for him. But maybe it isn't the worst thing to take some time out of the pressure zone and get more used to the environment. I like him and am confident, he'll be able to be a good player for us. Today I found the positioning a little odd though, it seemed as if Garnacho was wider than Dorgu a couple of times and also the they blocked each others paths once or twice.

Two horrible mistakes but I still like what I've seen from him overall. Shame it's a 3 game ban but at least he can play Europa

Two almost-costly brain farts tonight. Looks a decent player, though. At least we still got the win and he’ll be fresh for Europa. Learning opportunity for him, too.

Not worried about him, he’s a good player . Silly tackle but wasn’t intentional.

0/10 performance. But these things happen with young players like that. A learning experience.

It sounds ridiculous but is giving a keeper a green kit wise? Might mess with peripheral vision.
Remember this from Renato Sanches at Swansea?

Very good player. Terrible tackle without malice behind it but we need a right sided version of him too.

He will learn from that. Completely blameless for the first goal, all on Onana.

He’s was playing well. Frustrating.
While Onana has his share of fault it's definitely more on Dorgu. A professional player should never pass it backwards without looking, specially a pass to goal. That's like football 101.

Sad about loosing him for 3 games as I thought he was decent for the last games, except for the two braindead mistakes from today.

We'll have to play Dalot and Mazraoui on the wings with all that implies.

Looks like he was unlucky. It’s not even high, it’s just unfortunate.

Horrible tackle.
No, Onana put him in that position by not making the call in HIS area. Yet another complete f*ck up by the worst keeper United have had for many years. Tackle was bad but after what the same player he fouled got away with earlier, the red mist probably came down and the young lad made a mistake. He will learn...and at least looks like a potentially decent player Unlike that useless tw*t of a keeper!

0/10 performance.

It really wasn't a 0/10 performance though. Everything good we did, aside from Bruno set pieces, came through himself and Garnacho attacking down the left.

He could possibly have been more aware of Onana being ridiculous, but he had his eyes on the ball while being chased down in the pissing rain. I blame the keeper at least 90% for that one.

The foul was rash and a deserved red. But people are going way overboard on the lad. He's coming in quick on wet ground, the opponent miscontrols and changes angle abruptly. Yes his studs are up and he goes over the ball, but he does touch the ball on the way through and in real time it's a fraction of a second where he just misjudges it.

He's young and he'll learn from tonight, but people need to chill the feck out a small bit and give him that space to learn. We wonder why lads are going off to other clubs and thriving after looking shells of themselves here - but then we want everyone to immediately be the finished article and slam them mercilessly for every mistake.

Its not unlucky, when do you ever approach a ball like that if you've got half a braincell?

Agreed and I think the way played after the mistake for the goal, being positive and confident in possession to get us going forward was very encouraging.

He'll be fine.

Perhaps best in yellow or purple. The direction Dorgu kicked the ball it seemed he was playing it easy for the keeper to come and kick from the six yard area and completely missed Onana in green despite pretty much facing him.

Red card unfortunately. Still it seems other clubs get away it more than we do.

Has some Dorg in him. Played well apart from the mess ups. First one I'd mainly blame Onana, where was the call? He's not vocal enough when he needs to be.

This. Too sensible and sensical a post for the café though.

I thought he looked great in the early stages of the game. Good intensity and he seems to have a great idea of when to press. There was a good balance on that left side until he was sent off.

2 shit moments but was doing well otherwise. Happens though, bit over eager in the tackle but definite red.
Back to dalot lwb...
