I thought he was fraction late on tackle, do think he was unlucky.
They've worn green for decades, when was it ever an issue? It sounds ridiculous but is giving a keeper a green kit wise? Might mess with peripheral vision.
Think that's the instruction as it always happens with Garnacho. It allows him to stay wide insteadUnfortunate for him. But maybe it isn't the worst thing to take some time out of the pressure zone and get more used to the environment. I like him and am confident, he'll be able to be a good player for us. Today I found the positioning a little odd though, it seemed as if Garnacho was wider than Dorgu a couple of times and also the they blocked each others paths once or twice.
Football is so soft today if this is red...
The colour of the kit isn't the issue, the issue was Dorgu not looking before he played the pass.It sounds ridiculous but is giving a keeper a green kit wise? Might mess with peripheral vision.
Probably not been here long enough to realise that we have an absolute clown in goals and to expect the unexpected (ie: look up). Speaking of which I seen Ipswich taking a corner in the second half while the same clown was standing off the pitch drinking out of his water bottle. The red was an unlucky mistimed challenge but what the feck was he thinking for the first goal. The 3 games out of the spotlight will do him good.
The issue was Onana’s dedication to his vow of silence. The colour of the kit isn't the issue, the issue was Dorgu not looking before he played the pass.

Yeah, certainly it is instructed. Don't know if I like it though. I mean, I get that Garnacho wants to get away from the areas that are congested but there needs to be one in there. If Dorgu goes on to occupy those areas, thats fine to me but it seemed that he sticked deeper but still wide.Think that's the instruction as it always happens with Garnacho. So you're happy for our players to continue to not look at where they're passing the ball, strange but OK.The issue was Onana’s dedication to his vow of silence.
No blame on dorgu for that at all, keeper must control that situation
Needs to look and not play the ball blind. Yes Onana is reckless but Dorgu is not blameless there.
Horrible tackle.
Any remotely sane goalkeeper stays in the 6 yard box and communicates. Or steams out and clears everything and communicates. So you're happy for our players to continue to not look at where they're passing the ball, strange but OK.
Ya but he was at fault though. So was Onana for coming out but Dorgu has possession and doesn’t look at Onana which leads to the goal.Absolutely not at fault for the opening goal. Had full control on cover and no need for Onana to rush out to him.
We need another Dorgu on the other side as it all breaks down going forwards with Dalot on that side. Before the red he was excellent. You can actually see a bit how this system could work. And believe me, I haven't uttered that sentence recently.

Quenda would be transformative to our build up

Quenda and a CF will make us look a lot different in my opinion. Improvement in CB/CM/10 and I think we’ll be cooking.

I don't think he meant to "do" Hutchinson but it was a very poor challenge. He'll need to learn that even bottom of the table teams in the PL will have players with super quick feet, he needs to be careful putting his foot in like that. Mistime it by a split second and you're heading down the tunnel.I thought he was fraction late on tackle, do think he was unlucky.
Fair summary.Thought he was poor overall , at fault for the goal and an absolute shocker of a tackle. Got into good positions but the less said about his crossing the better .
This was my thought. Not great for the team bc he's looked good for our current standards, but the guy is 20 and has just made a huge move with a lot of pressure, and currently piling up a bunch of full 90 minute appearances. At least now he can take it in a little and learn a bit. He'll be playing in the Europa matches so it's not like he'll be short of games.Unfortunate for him. I don't want to take the blame away from Dorgu for preferring to pass instead of taking the safer route but that was a crap show from Onana. Any half decent goalkeeper would have been vocal and commanded play - either for Dorgu to stay out or to clear. Onana preferred to do a ball watching instead. The guy's a ticking time bomb of Titus Bramble magnitude and needs to be thrown out of the team asap. He's making everyone in the team look like an idiot. Can't hide under Oanan's shadow for the first goal. Both them were equally responsible for the feck-up. I thought the red was more unfortunate. It happens in a football game and I wouldn't want him beaten down for it.
Other than that, he looks like a good player. He'll learn and grow.
