Paris terror attacks on Friday 13th

There is more than a billion of them most are normal nice people. Would you advocate killing killing people who don't agree with this just because they believe in the same profit?

Where are the countries where Muslims are the majority where those of other faiths are treated with the same "dignity"? You can say most of them are nice people but those that are will stand by the side of the road as you are getting treated like a subhuman or at the least conform to what they set out for you to proceed by.

Umm they want you to hate them/us (I'm muslim). This is what they want. Race riots, fingers being pointed (rightly or wrongly).

Without trying to sound like a victim in a thread where we are speaking of actual victims...people like me are screwed. We aren't muslim enough for them. And some of you - understandably, aren't in the mood to differentiate between them and us.

So, they hope a muslim lad in Paris spat at by an angry/devastated neighbor tomorrow thinks - oi, those guys were right...I don't actually belong. I'm not French.

They win.

I haven't got the answers - and people a lot smarter than don't either. All we've got is hope that you/me/someone you know isn't the next victim of these cnuts.

These bastards wont make me hate a whole religion. I have good friends at work who are Muslim who will hate that this has happened. I wont feel any different about them because of this.

Great post, agree with everything you said.

Important post

Suicide bombers in Europe confirmed. Amazing. fecking suicide bomber in a football match. What a cnut.

There were Islamic suicide bombers in London in 2005. Madrid 2004, though I am not sure if that was a stand alone bomb or not.

There is no doubt that this recent wave of attacks has coincided with ISIS and the recent mass migration from Syria to Europe whereas those earlier attacks were tied into 9/11.

We should have left Iraq, Syria and Libya well alone.

They are saying it now sounds like 6 separate attacks. You'd think with the amount of coordination that 6 separate attacks would take the French authorities would have some intelligence on it.

The amount of people jumping on racial/religious agenda's on Twitter is sickening.

I have to admit I'm surprised it hasn't happened before. I don't know how we're able to mostly avoid such things in tiny Israel. To be secure in big countries in terms of size and population seems impossible really.

Time for the civilised world to unite and, unfortunately, fight.

Leaving Sadam alone would have sorted most of it.

If that's true game probably should have been suspended/cancelled.

It is. Was all over the German media and Löw confirmed it after the match - they had 2 or 3 minutes to evacuate the hotel. The french police searched the hotel, found nothing and said those threats are sadly common nowadays.

People need to stop using 'Muslim' to describe these people. Its not that they're muslim, theyre terrorists plain and simple. Or at the very least you can say muslim terrorists. Im far from religious but the stereotyping is far too reactionary.

Im somewhat in agreement with the whole going in with troops though. The fiasco with syria feels like we're tiptoeing around because of previous events. But doing that is barely making a difference imo. Its back and forth. This threat needs to be crushed significantly.

Hit em hard.

Yup. One nutter on a train, or two nutters with guns is one thing, but they've dropped the ball not to catch something like this.

Not sure I agreewith that. Gives us a chance to show our solidarity and respect. Security around the stadium will have to be very, very tight.
Imagine if something happened. The organisers would be crucified. No way they'd take the risk, aside from all the other reasons to abandon the game.

You won't and I'm sure the vast many others won't.

But some will. And I won't blame them. It's human nature, we lean on what we know and fear the very uncertain future we face.

I don't think it's wrong - people are angry and upset. It's the weekend ffs. Think of this place, we would all be bitching about the suspected ankle ligament damage Carrick suffered...instead, we're sitting and watching a mounting death toll.

Exactly.
