It’s a proper reaction and delighted for him. I had assumed he was a goner but he lives to fight another day and I will support him all the way

The pressure he was under and then to change the system and get this type of performance deserves credit

I'm always happy to see us win games, especially in such a convincing manner, but he'll need to produce a lot more of this in the coming months to get the fans truly back onside.

We've seen far too many false downs post-SAF not to be wary. This could easily be another one.

Soon enough opponents will find a way to play against our 352 and we will have roller coaster ride again with Ole.

Good win. Doesn't change my mind. He has to go. Spurs were absolutely woeful. Nuno has been worse than Ole.

He is in to stay and rightly so. The players have shown they want him to stay and excellent performance today.

Ole is at the wheel and long may it keep on turning.

Sad to see so many disappointed United fans that were are playing so well
I think every single Man Utd fan is delighted the players bounced back.

He is absolutely on his last chance, and that is rightly so.

Didn't learn anything new. He can get us a result, especially when under pressure but is not consistent enough and not tactically savvy enough to win silverware. As simple as this.

This will stop the Ole at the wheel chants from opposition fans hopefully and all the non-stop media articles. He should still go, but for his sake, I’m glad that he got a bit of a reaction.

I need a break from this sport I think, I can't even enjoy a good result. Even if I look at the game in a vacuum, it's the overriding dread at us throwing away another season that stops me from even thinking positive.

Yeah I'm probably not being a good supporter but it doesn't change how I feel.

His hands are glued to the wheel.
Hope we still sack him in the next few weeks.

Does anybody think that this win gives him now another few months?
It shouldn't, last week was one of the worst days for the club and he should have been sacked for it. But this club is so inept when it comes to football decisions it just wouldn't surprise me if we got moyes in again.

Would be silly to have waited a week, then sack him now. But we have 2 critical games in the next 7 days, so we'll quickly see if he's found the magical solution.

I don’t mean sack him right row but I certainly hope they do it going into the international break. Even if he were to fluke it and win the next 3 I think it’s clear to everyone at this point that Ole isn’t the man to lead us to major silverware, retaining him any longer is a pointless exercise and will only waste yet another season imo.

Good result, strong reaction and definitely the right set up. He deserves credit for that.

But we've been here before, he isn't the one long term, and that certainly wasn't the "United way".

What we think doesn't matter.

For the board and Woodward, this means the crisis is over and they can take a breath of relief and stop thinking about the sack. Ole's safe for at least 2 more years now.

You’re right, ultimately our opinion means nothing, but I still think there’s still 2 more games to be judged on, as much as I disagree with that assessment process. I’d rather we just bit the bullet and got rid, but there may be some sense in waiting till the international break.

Good result but Spurs were as bad as we were against Liverpool. And I have to say, despite the formation working, it's not filling me with optimism that we had to revert to 8 defensive players (finished with 9) for Ole to shore up the defense.

Also goes to show he's just winging it. What's the point in bringing in Sancho this summer if this is how we're going to play? Same for VDB. Greenwood, Rashford, Lingard, Sancho, VDB and Pogba on the bench is just ridiculous.

Yeah I won't be getting carried away with one performance against a worse team. Maybe 10 such wins and we're talking.

We’re still outside the top four with City and Chelsea coming up. I’m happy for him today but for now it’s just one game against a very poor Spurs.

I like that Ole went for a different approach this game, but I still hope he gets sacked. Its just nuts that he had to get under such immense pressure before he started to do something different. I hope to god he learns from this if he is not replaced.

3 in the back, yeah, more of that please. Works much better.

The only thing I didnt like from this game is that DvB didnt get any gametime.

I want Un

Absolutely pathetic attitude and apt username.

He is some sort of escape artist. Every time he needs a result he does get it. Got the results to get the job and hardly won a game after that during the rest of the season.

Multiple times the team was on bad form and all of a sudden he got the results to stay in the job.

Wouldnt be suprised if he sits back and wins against City that way and has his job secure until his next bad period... only to save his job with a run of good results that time too.

They might chant it even more now. Every rival fan knows that as long as we have Ole, we remain insignificant in the chase for trophies.

Honestly. I think he feels pressure to play "modern expansive football" like our rivals, but neither him nor his coaching team has the know how

Go back to basics, and we win convincingly. The way we played vs Leichester and Liverpool was naive as feck and everyone saw it

I dont think we have neither the squad, nor the backroom staff to play that way. Not with our current CM options
Yes the shitness of our CM options is the main problem, which I think a lot of people have been saying for a long time, I certainly have. The Sancho money should have gone on a CM. Sancho may turn out to be a great signing but CM was so obviously urgent, it really annoys me.

Spurs was shit, against a better may not be so easy.

1st goal Ronaldo's class.
2nd and 3rd really poor Spurs' defending

Will make it a very difficult decision if we let him stay on and then we win the next 2 though.

If a 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool didn't do it, it'll take something big to do it now. A couple of consecutive defeats etc.

This would be a fine send off for Ole, but no. We'll wait for another humiliation before doing the right thing.

Unless you make more money than him doing a worse job, then you shouldn't feel sorry.

Come on.

Even if you are filthy rich it does not mean you are immune to human emotions. He genuinely loves the club and wants to make it here. He wont, but that does not mean he can just dive into his Scoorge pile of coins and forget everything.

Ronaldo has more money than he and his grand children can spend in a lifetime and he still busts his arse out there

Didn't learn anything new. He can get us a result, especially when under pressure but is not consistent enough and not tactically savvy enough to win silverware. As simple as this.

Can’t you enjoy the win and just wait and see what happens in the coming weeks?

Admittedly I moved from being Ole In to Ole Out last week because of the dire performances against Leicester, Atalanta and Liverpool. We just look void of any ideas.

If we keep playing like we did today, get some consistency and have some more clean sheets, I’m more than happy to keep backing him. Winning games and 3 points is all that matters.

He only gets to perform this escape act because upper leadership is ineffective and clueless. Imagine getting to feck your basic job up multiple times at the office, then your boss giving you multiple chances to redeem yourself and completely forgetting all your previous shortcomings.
