Let's wait to see what happens in midweek and more importantly against City next weekend. For me he needs three wins to not be sacked during the international break.

He is in to stay and rightly so. The players have shown they want him to stay and excellent performance today.

Ole is at the wheel and long may it keep on turning.

Sad to see so many disappointed United fans that were are playing so well

We won't win anything with Ole. It's just about standards and ambition, ours are different.

Has stumbled into a solution after all but ending our domestic season.

He’ll be here for 100 years. Always gets bailed out at the brink. The cycle is getting boring.

Against a weak Spurs team, thats playing worse than we are. But that besides the point which a lot of people are missing. Take away tactics, style of play, the one question that needs to be asked is can Ole win one of the two major trophies ? In all the discussion of whether to sack by pundits, this should always be the 1st question.
And anyone without bias would say that an easy 'NO'. If it is, then we are wasting out time by keeping him on. Back in the day, UTD would be judged solely on trophies. We need to get back to the standard if we claim to be the biggest club in world football. Otherwise we are just Arsenal with a bigger budget

It’s worked today against a dog shit Spurs side

not sure he’s getting away with setting up like this for 30 games remaining in the season

Players are doing their job on the pitch. They also did the same under Mourinho and LVG. They don't want shit. They play for themselves and always have been.

You are so deluded if you think we will win something with Ole

We were ok today, don't pretend this is something it isn't. Next week against city will tell us everything and if ole can't challenge for titles he has no business being here.

Havent learned anything from this match but to win is better than to lose. I'd hate it if this is the football we are to play in the coming months under him, and it is a disgrace for the world's most expensive squad basically. He is just in it for himself and not wanting to lose at all cost. But a deserved win nonetheless.

If I was arsed or knew how to do it, I'd go and get a GIF of the Undertake doing that thing where he looks goosed but then sits up

This line up would have had Jose lynched.

Ole has played 8 defensive players v a team who can't attack and hoped Bruno, Ronaldo and cavani would get the job done and exactly that has happened.

I guess you can sort of credit the tactics in as much as it was a hope for moments of brilliance.

This proves nothing. The players were always going to put in a performance after their personal pride was damaged from that Liverpool drubbing. Not to mention this Spurs team is garbage, I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest to see us get destroyed by City next weekend. Nothing good will come of Ole remaining here as manager trust me.

Always have been his greatest fan. Never doubted him for a second.

I agree.

If you want better from Utd - target the Glazers.

True. But some fans are using the 'Glazers' as pretext to absolve Ole from blame. Ole has been backed heavily more than anyone UTD manager and he still can't win. Regardless of what the Glazers are doing, this squad could challenge with an elite manager because the talent is there. We all hate them but the Glazers aren't going anywhere but the manager is a problem that can be quickly fixed

He’s not good enough in the long run but if I see people depressed over this result just because Ole will stay I personally will admit I hate you. This result is delightful

3.0 don't recall Jose doing that too many times. Ole for it spot on and had proved he is the right man for the job

Let's get behind him for once

Ole has done well today, got everything right, hard to argue against that when he’s made a change of formation work, including the fullbacks doing well, both starting strikers on the score line and then the sub striker as well.

This is what Ole does, he gets responses from the players. So frustrating that he can’t seem to transition to that front foot pressing side though.

For the record I voted Ole IN just after we lost 5-0 to Liverpool.

Subsequent comments in this thread have suggested everybody who wants to keep Ole must be an opposition fan :D

Bite me. Not convinced Ole is the man for the job, but would like to give him the rest of this season to try and gel the new squad.

It’s a proper reaction and delighted for him. I had assumed he was a goner but he lives to fight another day and I will support him all the way

The pressure he was under and then to change the system and get this type of performance deserves credit

New squad? He has 3 new players and doesn't bother playing one of them.

Well you certainly aren't a fan of this club doing well, that's for sure, we'll just waste away seasons with him in charge

His replacement at Molde is better than him..

Ole-inners coming out in droves to celebrate mediocrity again. Wish we ended this shitshow last week once and for all.

Our clueless owners and the club PR are going to be insufferable as they sell the 'Ole the messiah' prattle to the ignorant masses again.

Again Solskjaers subs baffle me. VDB should be coming on for Fernandes not Matic and Greenwood for Cavani. When your winning 2-0 you bring on like for like not go more defensive.

G.Neville is going to explode with positivity now.

Got to laugh at the bitterness here at getting a win today.

I’m quite indifferent as to whether he stays or goes in the immediate future, as long as we can start getting results in.

Fair play. That had honest to God tactics and addressed a lot of our issues.

This win feels like an ex girl friend wanting you back, but you have moved on.
