Absolutely shambolic all this 'we are back' and 'turned a corner' comments I am seeing. Did you not see how awful that Spurs team were!?

Yea, I haven't seen spurs this bad in awhile. Most likely managerial philosophy
Interesting. Who was the manager then, and what was different about the philosophy?

I just saw that the team also lost basically their complete first pick defense and midfield from that time, with Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Walker, Trippier, Moussa Dembéle and Eriksen, either being sold or leaving due to age decline. Some great players in that list, seems to me no wonder they are worse off than they were?

Guess it's because they had to pay for that stadium?

Honestly dont think hes the right man for the job but delighted for him.
Poor bastard must have suffered over the last 7 days.

I will change my vote to Ole in after this masterclass with 7 defenders against a toothless Spurs. He convinced me he’s the man to take us forward!

Need to go. No doubt about it. Question is will he limit the damage before he is gone.

Havent learned anything from this match but to win is better than to lose. I'd hate it if this is the football we are to play in the coming months under him, and it is a disgrace for the world's most expensive squad basically. He is just in it for himself and not wanting to lose at all cost. But a deserved win nonetheless.

Agree, whether you’re Ole in or out, this isn’t the game to change your mind.
Let’s also not forget this team/formation today has been forced by recent results.

Certainly not out of the woods yet, but a superb reaction.
Need to follow this up with strong results in the next 2 games now.

The goal celebrations on the bench were very muted I thought. Does anyone think a decision has already been made?

Ole-inners coming out in droves to celebrate mediocrity again. Wish we ended this shitshow last week once and for all.

Our clueless owners and the club PR are going to be insufferable as they sell the 'Ole the messiah' prattle to the ignorant masses again.
Love it

Not sure if pissing off arseholes like you is even sweeter than the win

For the record I voted Ole IN just after we lost 5-0 to Liverpool.

Subsequent comments in this thread have suggested everybody who wants to keep Ole must be an opposition fan :D

Bite me. Not convinced Ole is the man for the job, but would like to give him the rest of this season to try and gel the new squad.
Yeah, let's keep giving him more time, it's not like there is a ton of evidence to suggest he will never be the guy to help us challenge. Every season he has been here he has always had these moments where he has deserved the sack, but let's keep pretending he can turn it around.

Happy that we won. Happy to see Ole smiling after the week he's had. But my god, we have some proper knee jerk fans. Ironically, it's the Ole Iners this time. He still needs to leave. We have a fantastic group of players.

Spurs are a shite poor team. Ole ball for the rest of the season then. :(

I blamed Ole last week, therefore I must credit him this week.

I want to see multiple clean sheets with a good few wins strung together before I change my vote.

Good result, good performance but he still needs to go if we’re going to consistently challenge & win titles.

Let’s hope the board to the right thing and don’t get sucked in again.

Would be silly to have waited a week, then sack him now. But we have 2 critical games in the next 7 days, so we'll quickly see if he's found the magical solution.

What we think doesn't matter.

For the board and Woodward, this means the crisis is over and they can take a breath of relief and stop thinking about the sack. Ole's safe for at least 2 more years now.

I just don't see the point in 'giving him three games', which basically means he is one bad result from being sacked. The only thing I can think of is that this buys the club time to put a new manager in place, but that requires a level of competence we haven't seen since David Gill left.

Fans are fickle especially our ones who seem to be flip flopping every game. Today's win changes nothing. We have a very good squad and we are bound to win games despite of who the manager is. This team would be challenging for everything with someone like Conte in charge. With Ole we will win some games here and there but ultimately will be miles away from the title.

Imagine that, he had like, how long… since September, to sort out the ‘suicidal 4-2-4’?

Honestly. I think he feels pressure to play "modern expansive football" like our rivals, but neither him nor his coaching team has the know how

Go back to basics, and we win convincingly. The way we played vs Leichester and Liverpool was naive as feck and everyone saw it

I dont think we have neither the squad, nor the backroom staff to play that way. Not with our current CM options

I truly hope he will be sacked eventually. Spurs were almost as horrible as we were last week.

When you see the quality that Ronaldo has and we probably won't challenge for the title with him it just makes me sad.

Unless you make more money than him doing a worse job, then you shouldn't feel sorry.
