Is Ole a good appointment?

Did we actually the the famous diamond vs Spurs and Arsenal.
Anyway 4-3-3 can easily change to diamond during a game and formation with which you start isn't set in stone.
Ole actually proved he adapts to the circumstances and the games he play but for some it still isn't enough cause. He will be found out..

You said it!

Apparently he's going to get found out if he continues to use a diamond? These are your words. Why wouldn't he just play something else if it wasn't working? I don't understand what you're saying anymore.
Those are not my words though. Couldn't be more far from it even. It seems you never understood from the start.

You wont let this go.........

Chelsea now favourites to nab him. His dream to manage chelsea.............a club where managers get sacked for winning trophies...........
You should read my post again.
I use Chelsea for example only,
Don't try to misinterpreted words.

Because

(a) It was after a loss against PSG and we did not play well.

(b) martial and Lingard were injured.

(c) The substitutes for Martial and Lingard were not performing.

(d) We have not won at SB for more than a decade.

(e) Chelsea tend to raise their game against us no matter their form.
All of this. I was very surprised with what we brought to the table.

The way some people are shifting goal post;is it not better to say that their minds is made up on Poch no matter what Ole achieves?

We won many matches;they said those were small teams.

We won Spurs;they said De Gea saved us.

We won Arsenal they said we need to concede first and see how we react.

We drew Burnley they said;they needed to see how we react after a loss.

We lost to PSG;they said Chelsea is the ultimate test.

We beat Chelsea ;they said Liverpool is the real ultimate test.

If Ole walks on water they will accuse him of raising dust.

This. The goalposts have been shifted with each passing game. Next, they'll be asking him to win the World Cup and the European Championships in one go.

Where is this chelsea talk coming from ? Saw nothing in any news
Because there is no news.
I use Chelsea as example in scenario, I could have use any XYZ club.
Problem start when one user didn't read whole context and misinterpreted it as Chelsea want him.

Okay I know people are making jokes out of "tests to pass" but this truly was a test he passed in my books. Getting a team back to winning after a pretty demoralizing defeat is a very good sign.

Now let's thump pool

We've played Chelsea 23 times at SB in the history of both clubs. We've only won there 3 times including last night.

We have played Chelsea at SB 23 times in our history even though we play there every year for the last 40 + years in the league alone?

What are you talking about?

Premier League years, sorry. We've played them a total of 48 times since the PL began and 23 of those have been at the Bridge.

I was sceptical but boy has he impressed. He's done more than just put smiles on faces and it's insulting to keep saying "this is the big test" after he passes the past supposed "big test". It seems nothing short of perfection is gonna be enough for some people... How quickly we seem to forget where he's dragged us from.

No rush to appoint him, as we need the full picture, but there are clear changes in our approach game to game. We looked strong defensively last night. Remember how poorly everyone rated our squad under Mourinho and now we're up to 4th. He has outperformed expectations and he has shown some Fergie esque traits in bringing on forwards to kill off games, which shows the attitude and approach I want from a United boss.

For all the Poch talk, I have always hated how he concedes trophies soon as they get close. His soundbites never filled me with desire to have him as our boss. I want a boss who sees everything as important and breeds that hunger to win everything on offer. Even if you play youth you send them out with the belief that you feel they can bring home the trophy, not the laissez-faire, apathetic attitude Poch seems to show to certain competitions.

Chelsea have always been in the epl, the epl is 26 years old , we've also played there in CL and other fa cup and league Cup ties. Again I ask.. What on earth are you talking about

I'm only quoting the BBC from last night so why don't you calm down?

Here's a 2 year old source for you. Fill your boots: https://www.skysports.com/football/...against-manchester-united-than-any-other-side.

Chelsea have taken 67 points out of a possible 144 in 48 games against United in the Premier League

I like his way of winning against clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs.

He's set the defence and attack up really well, and gets use out of all of the squad, with different formations and tactics.

As Pogba said "he trusts us, we trust him".
There's no guarantee any other manager would come in and replicate the respect from players and form Ole has got, as a United legend.

I fully expected us to be much more energetic and offensive once Mourinho was gone but what Ole has done so far has exceeded any sort of expectations I had. The turnaround has simply been remarkable to say the least and I commend him for being able to do what he has done so far. Pogba under Ole is now already even better statistically than at Juve and there are plenty of games left. As I said I expected much more positivity but I could never imagine 13 games later we would have won 11.

Then why wasn't Phelan made manager instead of Ole? Why has Ole won the league with a team that had never won the league before in the history of their existence? Was he on the phone to Phelan every night getting tactical advice? Maybe he flew Phelan out for the big Europa League nights when they beat Ajax, Celtic and Fenerbache (to name a few) in order to try and understand the tactical brilliance of Brendan Rodgers and the like.

Do you even know who Solskjaer is? You do remember he spent most of his playing career sat on the bench reading the game, observing opposition tactics so when he came on he knew how to hurt them?

But nah, you're probably right. Bet Phelan just wrote it all down and handed it to him before he went on for most games...fecking hell...
Surprised you went to the trouble of such a well thought out response for someone who says stuff like ‘could care less’

Chelsea had only lost at home once this season, to exemplify how hard it is to beat them at the Bridge. Poor form or not, last night was a superb victory.

To stop them scoring too is amazing. I thought we had a good chance of winning but never did I think we’d stoll it 2-0.

Don’t care how poor Chelsea are presently. They’ve been worse many times yet we’ve always struggled to win at Chelsea. Chelsea have always been difficult to better at the Bridge.

It wasn’t just the fact we won. It was the way we won. But even more importantly, how every player reacted to defeat against PSG. We were faster, stronger and quicker than Chelsea to almost every second ball. We had desire and belief. Those two are things we would have lacked and simply crumbled instead under the last few managers.

"

Chelsea bullish at home

Since suffering a 3-0 home defeat in April 2002, Chelsea have won 11 of their 20 meetings against United at the Bridge in all competitions, losing only two."

I can send you some more if your Google isn't working properly? Found a ton you might be interested in reading.

This.
And City lost at the Bridge just back in December. Yesterday was a superb performance and result.

It is incredible how Old has gotten Pogba to play and show his true footballing ability. It is hard to argue that there is any midfielder in the world better than Pogba at the moment. Which is funny as a few months ago, Mourinho would bench him because he was unplayable.

This makes me question, what happens when Pogba decides to down tools again? Or when a team have the capabilities to completely shut Pogba out of the game as Tuchel did at Old Trafford? This idea of giving the players “freedom” to express themselves will not work when we come up against more tactical competent managers as seen when we faced Pochettino and Tuchel. Ole need to show that we can play around Pogba. Even though Ole deserve a lot credit for making him “happy” again(man management aspect) and giving him a more free role, football is a team sport and you will get outclassed tactically by better managers if there is an over reliance on one player in your team. This is another reason why I have not jumped on the Ole bandwagon. Ole has not really given me a complete performance against a team we were not expected to win or was going to struggle at. Some fans needs to remember that this Chelsea team got humiliated by Bournemouth and Manchester City this season. I can’t tell if there players are downing tools over there or Sariball is a ‘Sarifailure’ or ‘Saridisaster’ and the players do not understand that philosophy.
Man Utd beat Spurs when we faced them

Man Utd beat Chelsea, who beat Spurs

Man Utd are probably going to beat Crystal Palace, who beat Spurs

So why do you think Poch is tactically superior to Ole?

"
Why Manchester United have struggled against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge
Man Utd have won two of their last 16 games at Stamford Bridge, so why do they seem to struggle at Chelsea?

"

not the entire EPL like you corrected yourself from your initial train wreck
Calm down. Just because I was partially right doesn't mean you have to get all upset.
