A couple of points that struck me this morning.

1. I was dead against JoMo until I read the word "JoMophobia. Now I'm a believer.

2. I used to feel occasionally conscious or even guilty about being too confident as a United fan. I was worried about coming across as arrogant or condecending.

But after the last few years and the unrestrainable glee every fecker outside the club has ejaculated wantonly from every orifice at our 'demise', I am going to be ruthless from now on.

Feck them all - we are going to be the biggest cnuts in the land again and I'm going to savour every fecking minute of it.

3. The first shot of Jose and Fergie together, either at OT or at Carrington is going to leave a smile on my face for days!

All of these things!

Over the moon, the past 3 years was just a bad dream. All oppositions fans are saying it will end in tears. We'll just have to prove them wrong.

To be honest, there are a few United fans who feel the same way. Let's hope he proves us wrong too!

It does make me laugh when people refer to Maureen's "behaviour" My mate who's a gooner said to me that United have "lowered" themselves to appoint Jose because of his antics, and arrogance, I said he was just shitting it because he took the piss out of Wenger and that he wasn't so different to Fergie, Christ! Fergies arrogance in the horse spunk saga more or less made us the Glazers cash cow not to mention the constant clashes with refs, other managers and the Beeb.

I'm not Maureen's biggest fan and some of the talk in the press and on here like we're guaranteed success with him is a little premature but if under him we win back the league and a couple of champions leagues here and there, like Fergie, none of us will care if he took a shit on the Wembley centre circle live on MOTD.

That's bullshit

Porto didn't end in tears after Mourinho
Madrid won a title, their only one in a decade
Chelsea won 3 titles with him
Inter won the treble, the fecking treble

If it's tear it's tears of joy

Not convinced, have always disliked the guy. I acknowledge this is a trait many hugely successful people have but he's just a bit of a prick at times and gets dragged into petty feuds and fails to maintain his professionalism. Often makes everything about himself rather than the club.

I'll need a lot of convincing but I support this club and this team so I'm obviously hoping he wins me over by playing good football, giving youth a chance and getting results.
I wouldn't change a single word when describing a certain Sir Alex Ferguson.

Just watched his short interview he gave, he's already got me drooling.

Jose : I prefer to forget the last 3 years And focus on the clubs history

Don't we all Jose...don't we all.

Random on my part, but can anyone create an XI of players Jose Mourinho has managed?

Off the top of my head you have Ronaldo, Lampard, Sneijder, Eto'o, Ibrahimovic, Robben...

Ibra
Ronaldo-------------Robben
Lampard----Xabi Alonso
Makelele
Marcelo---Ramos---Terry---Maicon
Cech

That's not bad, I'm sure plenty would come up with better.

Seriously, I still can't quite believe it.. Jose bloody Mourinho as Manchester United manager! I sight I longed for but never thought I'd see.

It's very revealing the "let's forget the past three years", my guess is he really expected to be named manager when Moyes's was,so what was meant to be then, is happening now. You can tell the guy has always craved this job, and that's what I love players, managers who really want to be here, who buy into our history, who you can tell are gonna fall in love with our club, and will always talk about United as us.

Excited and delighted! No more philosophy or rubbish of us to be aspired to the shitty level!

Though I didn't want him I will support him wholeheartedly while here. Though it seems to me that we are desperate to get the PL trophy back home. Mourinho and (maybe) Zlatan is short-term thinking to me. Our best sides were built on youth and Busby /Fergie. It's very difficult to get immediate success. We should build on Martial, De Gea,Rashford, TFM and Shaw. Keep Rooney, Smalling, and some more for experience. Buy Saul from AM, buy a really pacey RW and buy a CB who is like Vidic. Then we will dominate again

It's still sinking in that we have Jose Mourinho, arguably the best manager in the world, wanting to take us back to the pinnacle of football. Spanish football should enjoy being top while they can, the abundance of managerial talent and monumental money deals in the Premier League will see an all English final in the CL soon enough!

To be fair, even LVG said something similar when he arrived. I don't doubt that he is looking to win trophies with us but that's aiming for it is only the first step.

I found it interesting as well. Most are taking it to mean 'forget the last 3 yrs of United being crap' - which might be part of it - but I actually felt this comment confirmed that he probably thought he'd finally got the job he wanted 3 years ago.

That's what I'm here for! :)
Went to snoop on opposition fans forums and found a compliment to you Olly on Arsenal Mania:D They like your work of arts:D

Compliments from Arsenal fans, I couldn't ask for much more

 Can you please include the Pardew dance to every single gif in the future?
I shall try my best :D

The most underrated aspect of his signing is that even without champions league football, he has the draw to bring basically any player to the club.

Imagine not thinking that this is an amazing appointment.

He gets United and I can see United being a club he settled at before moving on to coach Portugal.

Buzzing! Might even renew

Can you imagine the pre season friendly between us and City? Jose and Pep! That's probably going to be the most hyped, most watched pre season match of all time:lol:
