Exactly this. Hilarious looking back in hindsight that we thought we had a chance of getting him here.the guy hates ut, there was never any chance of Haaland joining United.

What a player. I prefer him rather than Mbappe.
Was it ever reliably reported though?Yes he does. In the second year of his contract his clause is €200m and in the third year it's €175m.
Haaland is so good in his own rights, he doesn't need to use any skills or tricks to beat a defender, yet, no defender could stop him from scoring goals. No defenders could defend against his strength, pace, movements, and ability to score. He is ultimate bully to any defenders, which makes him even more deadly than Mbappe.Nah Mpabbe is far more complete
Why would he move?Absolute monster, baring serious injury Haland is the one striker who has the potential to beat Cristiano Ronaldo records
Will smash it in the Premier League and then move to Madrid within 4 years time
The PL is a farmers league to him.
It's either you or Watzke who are completely wrong on the matter. I wonder who...the guy hates ut, there was never any chance of Haaland joining United.
Can't stand the cnut.
Watzke said:“We gave Erling Haaland a release clause... otherwise he would have gone to Manchester United.”
The only way he doesn't become an all time legend is if he succumbs to injuries. But lord have mercy what a player.
Yes. Mbappe is more complete, but Haaland is a better striker Both are incredible game changers.Nah Mpabbe is far more complete
Desire to play in a different league for a historically great club? If he beats all the important records, Shearer's aside, why not? He's already travelled a lot and he's known to always keep options open (hence the release clause even in his current contract with City). Also, who knows where City will be in 5 years — it's not that likely that Pep is going to stay that long, although even without Pep City obviously has the best conditions to remain at the very top.Why would he move?
Unlimited money and off the books benefits allegedly available for him at City.
Also unlimited funds for them to buy players around him.
I find it very hard to believe Haaland would ever consider United. It's either you or Watzke who are completely wrong on the matter. I wonder who...
One man wrecking ball for PL defences.Never in doubt. He an absolute machine.
Lewandowski is still better than him. We'll see how much longer, thoughArguably best player in the world now given Messi and Ronaldo's decline.
Mane ain't retiring in a couple of yearsHope Bayern takes him as their striker in a couple of years after Mane retires.
It's either you or Watzke who are completely wrong on the matter. I wonder who...

Well Dortmunds CEO literally said that without Dortmund agreeing to the release clause, he woud have signed for United.
6 goals in 4 games. Micky Quinn scored 10 goals in 6 games to start the PL season in 92/93, the fastest to score 10 goals in a season in the competitions history. Forest and Villa next for City. Forest has allowed 1 goal per game so far, Villa 2.
He will, that's why he has a release clause.
Club affiliations are overrated when people talk about footballer's career choices. City weren't in for him at that point, it was between us and Dortmund and we had certainly been able to offer more money than them, but strategic thinking and Raiola made sure that he went to Germany. We obviously didn't have any chance of signing him this summer in a direct competition with City and Pep.There was *zero* probability that the son of Haaland would join United instead of City. Why would he? His dad had a terrible history with United. He himself has been a fan of City since he was a kid. And we cannot offer him more money or more trophies.
Certainly not yet but it's not hard to imagine him winning a few Ballon d'Ors in a couple of years.Arguably best player in the world now given Messi and Ronaldo's decline.
Dortmund's CEO said that as proof he is a great CEO doing a fantastic job. It means nothing.

Not even the best player at Man CityArguably best player in the world now given Messi and Ronaldo's decline.
